I have traveled to many many countries, and am a huge fan of Spanish cuisine—and I have to say, this was one of the most orgasmic food and wine experiences I have had in my life. Thank you, Chef Alex, thank you—wonderfully delightful Susan and my new favorite bartender, Kobe. My husband and I were wowed. This was a spontaneous birthday getaway, and the food (both dinner and breakfast) have been consistently exceptional. “Highly recommended - a little Spanish gem in the Hamptons 🇪🇸✨ My husband and I came for a date night and absolutely loved it. Chef Alex welcomed us himself - incredibly warm and genuine. As a Spaniard, I can say the Spanish influence here is truly authentic. The dishes are made with passion and respect for real Spanish flavors, and you feel it in every bite. The croquetas (almost melted in our mouths) and the lamb were unforgettable - easily standouts of the night. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were even better 🔥 A memorable dinner, I’m already counting the days to come back and try the paella with autentic socarrat 🤤”

“R.AIRE at The Hampton Maid is fantastic! The ambiance is amazing, very clean, well lit and sexy! Such a great vibe for a top meal! Chef Alex is truly a master of his craft 👨🏼‍🍳 My husband and I enjoyed an evening at The Hampton Maid (check their ratings for my review!) and used the dinner addition to our stay. We enjoyed some drinks at the bar and the staff was superb! Once seated for a late dinner we started with Lobster Bisque and Calamari a la Romana as starters, then a delicious salmon and lamb shank with a fabulous Basque cheesecake! Our waiter was attentive and everything was cooked to perfection! I encourage anyone who appreciates a delicious meal in a great ambiance to try it! You won’t regret it!”

“Unfortunately, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had recently. The staff were friendly, but the food quality fell well short of what you’d expect at these prices. The bread — white bread toasted on a pan with extra virgin olive oil — arrived cold, as though it had been sitting out long after being toasted. When you’re paying extra for bread, is it unreasonable to expect it to come out warm? The lobster bisque, priced at over $20, was overly salty and lacked depth of flavor, with only a few sparse pieces of lobster meat. We ordered the seafood and steak paella, a two-person minimum that came to nearly $100. It included lobster and filet mignon, but the rice was too salty, the lobster didn’t taste fresh, and the steak was burnt and bland. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but the dish was a real letdown. The chef was gracious about it — he offered to remake the dish, but we simply couldn’t wait another 30-plus minutes for a second attempt. He did send us off with a complimentary cheesecake, which was a kind gesture. This was our last dinner in the area before heading home, but unfortunately, it left us feeling like we’d made the wrong choice.”
