“Coast Oceanfront Dining was one of our favorite meals on Hilton Head! It felt like one of those hidden gems that the locals know about. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with live music adding to the perfect beachside ambiance. I ordered the Lowcountry Seafood Boil with snow crab clusters, shrimp, Andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and potatoes—and it was outstanding! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the shrimp were large and meaty, and every bite was delicious. I honestly ate every last bite because it was that good. One thing we especially appreciated was how easy it was to park. Unlike many of the busy restaurants on the island, parking wasn't stressful, and after dinner we were able to take a short walk right onto the beach, which made for the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. If you're looking for fresh seafood, a relaxed atmosphere, live music, convenient parking, and easy beach access, I highly recommend Coast Oceanfront Dining.”

“Coast was by far my favorite restaurant we visited in Hilton Head. The food was good, the atmosphere was good and the service was exceptional 👌 from the moment we entered the staff was very accommodating. They saw we were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and brought us champagne to start the meal. Our server was outstanding and the manager even came by to check on us. After dinner they brought us a beautiful dessert. We highly recommend Coast for any occasion!”

“I had a great experience at Coast—this is definitely a top-tier seafood spot. We had a group of 4 celebrating a birthday. The food was excellent across the board. We ordered the red snapper, filet mignon, calamari, hush puppies, and a mix of raw oysters. The red snapper was the standout—cooked perfectly with bold Caribbean flavors. True Jamaican chef and authentic Caribbean flavor. It was so good we had to meet the chef. The filet mignon was a nice 8oz portion, flavorful without being too heavy. The calamari was light, airy, and well-seasoned. The hush puppies had a perfect crunch on the outside with a delicious honey drizzle that really set them apart. For the raw oysters, we did the sampler (2 of each), and they were fresh with great flavor variety. Service was solid, and the food came out quickly. The ambiance and scenery are beautiful—perfect for a date night or a family dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only downside is that there aren’t really vegan options beyond salads and sides. You might be able to modify an entrée by holding the meat or fish, but we didn’t ask. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for quality seafood and a great dining experience.”

“We decided on Coast for our anniversary dinner while in Hilton Head and we are glad we did. Everything about the evening was a great experience. The view from the patio area is wonderful. As the evening cooled, they were able to drop a clear barrier that blocked the wind without disturbing the view. The food was excellent. We started with hush puppies. The catch of the day was Mahi Mahi. I ordered it blackened and it was cooked perfectly. The salsa for the fish was also very good. We finished with the Coconut Cake and a glass of Tawny Port to conclude a wonderful meal. The service matched the prices. Our server was Logan, and he was outstanding throughout the evening. The experience is worthy of special occasions. We would definitely celebrate here again.”

“We went here as part of our getaway trip to Hilton head. We were celebrating our anniversary. The host was very gracious and kind, and they were able to get us seating inside, even though we had an outdoor reservation since it was booked a little bit last minute. The food was delicious and really good quality for the price, and the staff made the experience above and beyond even giving us a happy anniversary card, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend the upstairs. It has a really great atmosphere very comfortable for an evening dinner experience.”
