“The Plaid Apron has become my favorite restaurant in Knoxville! Every dish is a highlight. Their breads are out of this world, even the burger buns. There are few things better than a delicious bread course, and The Plaid Apron has one of my favorites ever. The pesto spread and butter were absolutely perfect. I appreciate their commitment to local ingredients, and I feel their prices are very fair for what you get. The collard greens were exceptionally tasty and cooked perfectly. The service was so friendly and efficient. I can’t stop thinking about how good this place is, and I can’t wait to go back!”

“Had perhaps one of the most delicious eggs benny I've ever had here, and I try them most places I go. The hollandaise was creamy and delicate. Eggs poached medium as requested. All atop Brussels sprouts (yum!) and the house bacon (a nice smokey flavour). I'll be back. Should say I've eaten here a few times before and have always enjoyed the fare. Also! Their gluten free chocolate cookie with walnuts is a dream. Highly recommend and big enough where you might want to share a bite... maybe.”

“This restaurant does food right. SO much is made completely from scratch in house including the sausage which is pretty cool. The salads are beautiful. I love the citrus slices and the lemon dressing. The veggie omelette is amazing, full of vegetables. The almond cakes are perfection. This is a great restaurant.”
