“Stop by Kashi in Huntington and celebrate the holiday season with their delicious Oyster Fest along with amazing Japanese food. Fresh fresh fresh is the key and that is what Kashi delivers. They have east coast oysters at a dollar each and west coast oysters for only two quarters more! Kashi Huntington has a clean and cozy environment with very friendly and attentive staffs. Sit by the booth and lower the curtains for more privacy. Order a nice bottle of sake to pair with oysters and appetizers. Each dish looks as good as it tastes. How can you forget about sushi and sashimi? Order a set and your taste buds will tell you it’s fresh!”

“I’m writing regarding an experience my family had at your restaurant this evening that left us extremely disappointed. My husband and I dine there twice a week for happy hour. We are consistent customers, spend a significant amount during our visits, and always tip above 20% because we value good service and want to support the staff. Tonight we brought my mother with us. She has been on disability for years and is currently recovering from a fractured hip and fractured leg. Mobility is extremely difficult for her. We requested to sit at one of the three tables that are typically used for happy hour during the week because they were the most accessible for her condition. We were told that due to it being Saturday, those tables were not available under “store policy.” What was most frustrating was not simply the policy itself, but the complete lack of flexibility or accommodation shown for someone with a visible and serious physical disability. There was no effort to problem-solve, no empathy, and no attempt to make the situation easier for her. As regular patrons who support your business frequently, it was disheartening to feel that customer loyalty — and more importantly, basic consideration for someone with mobility limitations — did not matter. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and reconsider how situations involving disabled guests are handled in the future. A small accommodation or even a more compassionate response would have made a significant difference. I look forward to your response.”
