Great White - Melrose

“The ambiance is warm and inviting (not unlike some beach resorts). The staff is what makes this place stand-out: great service, knowledgeable wait staff. They do their best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The menu has a lot of variety: something for everyone. The management team is very present, adding to the feeling of always being taken care of. If there is an issue, it's resolved swiftly without drama. The coffee/barista team is shockingly good (given other restaurants nearby that tend to not pay attention to such things.) This is a relaxed locals' place. (Though sometimes patrons do love their speaker phones so everyone can hear their conversations. I wish headphones were a thing for any calls inside the place.)”

“Great White Melrose is the best any time and for any vibe. I love popping by for drinks and bites with friends, family, and colleagues/clients. Truly a place that has something for everyone (even those that are a tad picky). The GW team provide top tier service and bring the best energy. Their dirty (vodka) or espresso (mezcal) mini martini, GW chilled red, and spicy marg (mezcal) are my beloved bevvy recs. The tremendous burger, caesar salad, swim club, diavola pizza, and of course their sweet potato fries are my go to bites.”

“Came in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious — especially the burrito — and the interior is absolutely beautiful. We got a table right away, even on a Sunday morning, and the staff was super friendly. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌸”

“I had a great brunch at this Great White location. I came specifically for the pancakes and they delivered. They were perfectly fluffy and full of flavour. The cream on top was a great addition as well. I also got poached eggs on toast on the side so I could have something savoury and I really enjoyed those as well. The only negative is my friend’s smoothie took a long time to arrive. It should have come with the rest of our food but was delayed. However, the restaurant comped it, which was appreciated.”

“I'm really happy with my meals at this place - the staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. But the parking security is absolutely ridiculous. They weren't there when I parked, and after I stayed a bit longer than allowed, they called to complain about me and even gave my car a ticket. It was such a terrible experience - how can a restaurant have employees like that? It's not that I'm not willing to pay for parking or tip, but I just didn't see them there before 11 o'clock. It's just absolutely mindboggling and frustrating to have parking attendants like this I'm wondering if their manager just teaches employees how to complain about customers, right?”
