“I made a reservation a year ago which I had to cancel but yesterday we were coming home to Orange County from Ventura, we had to stop and visit the restaurant. We spent a memorable time in the restaurant, warm and welcoming waiter, lovely talk with the owner and delicious, authentic, Hungarian food highlighted our day. Every little element is thoughtfully added to the restaurant, showing their respect and love for both country they represent. A great marriage for this unique fusion of cuisines! I also have to mention the decor on the wall. These beautiful artwork made me want to touch them! Look like sculptures but whisper a touch of softness of leather made by a talented Hungarian artist based in Los Angeles. This restaurant is a must try. “As someone who's never tried Hungarian food/a local foodie - this is a MUST! I've tried many LA restaurants over the years and the passion here is not like any other! I went here for a my boyfriend's birthday yesterday and service was phenomenal. Peter was so attentive and passionate of bringing awareness and teaching us about Hungarian wine and cuisine! My boyfriend, being of Hungarian descent, said that the chicken paprikash was almost as good as Omas (but dont tell her that!) Peter is also very experienced in Italian cuisine as well, as having worked in many high-end Italian restaurants before. If you ask him about your curiosities in trying new Hungarian wine, he might offer a tasting of the various regions in both red and white varieties! From there, the glass of whichever is your favorite will accompany you throughout the rest of your appetizer and main course. My favorites from the menu that stood out are the pork cubes and Hungarian dessert wine! The savory cubes w/ potato have a highly seasoned, almost smoky taste that is divine. The dessert wine was of a mostly sweet body with an edge of tart, dryness that I LOVE. If you're a fan of dry wine varieties, then you might just find Hungarian wine to be your new favorite region to explore. Whether you know someone of Hungarian heritage, or are looking to try new savory, hearty food from Central Europe, please come here. You won't be remiss to try something new and also leave room for anyone looking to taste the familiar. Mind you, I did not try any Italian offerings, so take that as you will. Despite the cool, European interior with Euro-dance/house in the background, Peter and team bring an upscale yet warm presence which will certainly have you feeling like home.”

“As a hungarian in LA, we don't really have a lot of options for hungarian restaurants. This one however DELIVERS. I have been in the US for 3 years now, so it is safe to say I missed my momma's cooking. My girlfriend and I walked in, everybody was amazing to us and it turns out, all of the servers spoke hungarian so I felt right at home. At first I was really afraid that the meals would be lacking the Hungarian soul out of them but let me tell you, every single dish felt like it was made with heart and passion. I had the chance to talk to the owner (amazing guy by the way) and he told me that is what they are specifically aiming for. Well they blew me away. Their elderflower concoction drink (bodzaszorp) felt like it came straight from my grandmothers house and I can't lie it damn near brought a tear out of me. The vibe of the place was super neat, comfy, all the decorations were on point. Thank you for this magical experience, I will be coming back!”

You feel very welcome here as their guest they really appreciate you! :)) my favorite dish is Chicken Paprikash, makes me come here 2-3 times a week! Love it!”

“Located at a small strip mall, this wonderful little restaurant serves very good Hungarian dishes (we didn’t try its Italian offerings) and excellent service. We had some of its traditional Hungarian dishes as in Chicken Liver pate, burrada salad, Somloi trifle, Hungarian walnut seed noodles, chicken paprikas, and stuffed cabbage. The walnut noodles were interesting as they were dusted with crushed walnuts and powder sugar (yes, that is correct). The noodles had a good texture, and the sweetness of the powder sugar was a bit different, but tasted fine. The burrada salad was something new to us and it was very good paired with some bread for the creamy cheese. The other dishes all tasted good. The desserts were good as well, including its tiramisu. I only had one small gripe. The chicken paprikas had a few bone chips (two, to be exact) and I wound up having a tooth ache for the rest of the night after I chomped on one of them. The chef probably needs a new knife to cut the chicken bones. The wine selection wasn’t extensive, but sufficient. The nice server offered my wife to taste some of its whites since she normally doesn’t drink and had no idea what the wines tasted like at this place. The sitting area was cozy and comfortable. The noise level wasn’t bad and we can easily converse during the dinner. The parking was extremely easy, which was right out front with plenty of spaces since most other tenants at this mall had already closed for the day when we arrived for dinner.”
