“I’ve been to the Benjamin a couple of times and think it’s one of the best restaurants in LA. The food is outstanding and everything I had is great - specifically the spicy lobster pasta, the baked potato is surprisingly amazing, and of course the burger. You can’t go wrong here. That being said, the drinks really blow me away every-time I come here. They’re refined, delicious, cravable, and I’ve had a variety that I liked (usually I just get old fashions but here I’m adventurous). It’s a great date spot or a spot to grab a booth to catch up with some friends. Highly recommend.”

“I had always wanted to go here for the Hamburger and it was absolutely everything I had ever heard. It is a 'light' variation of any hamburger that you have ever had. The freshest of ingredients and the way it's made has got to be the cleanest version one can enjoy. The beef was perfectly cooked at Medium Rare and not the least bit of grease or heaviness. The bun is amazing too and airy and able to absorb all the fantastic sauces and cheeses that comes with this. I suggest this is shared with a loved one or a good friend. I loved the wedge salasd and specifically the way it's served - chopped! This take the pressure off of cutting it at all and can be easily eaten. The Bordeaux was wonderful and our server was so upbeat and very fun and smart. The tart for dessert was the tartest tart that one can tart and very cool when combined with the amazing gram cracker crust and meringue. One complaint is sadly the seating there are very small seats for two everywhere and one is not allowed to sit in a booth unless they are three or more. No if ands or buts. It was our Second Anniversary and a very early reservation on a Thursday made weeks beforehand. I wanted to surprise my husband with a much more romantic experience but the hostess would not allow us to sit in a booth whatsoever. We were almost sat in a very small very busy little table - where every single booth in the entire restaurant were empty. These also stayed empty for the duration of our meal. There was not a single care for the requests we made thru RESY. This makes the consumer who really loves your restaurant to absolutely lie in the future just to be sat in a booth and warn anyone who needs a romantic anniversary to choose another spot entirely and maybe just come here for a drink.”

I’ve been in the food service industry since I was 14 years old, and I consider myself well-seasoned, well-traveled, with a sharp eye and palate for great food. To be honest, I was starting to lose hope in the LA food scene—until I found The Benjamin. What a beautiful blessing of a restaurant. We started with the marinated olives, which immediately set the tone, followed by a perfectly executed wedge salad. We originally came because of the rave burger reviews—and they absolutely did not disappoint. But the real showstopper was the lobster pasta. Epic. Memorable. The kind of dish that reminds you why you love dining out. On top of the food, Natalie, our waitress/bartender, was beyond amazing—attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely elevated the entire experience. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we had the carrot cake for dessert. Incredible. The perfect ending to an outstanding meal. “After searching for the top burger spots in town, Benjamin quickly made it onto the list of visiting restaurants. Among them, Benjamin stands out with some of the best burgers around. The burger was very tasty and made with high-quality meat. Although it’s a bit pricey, I think it’s definitely worth trying. The service and atmosphere also contribute to a great overall experience. We weren’t sure if they took walk-ins, so we decided to make a reservation just in case.”

“That was a good experience, I think we all were glad to have went but I don’t think we’ll be back. Food choices were very interesting. A good mix of American and variety of Asians. A lot of their dishes have touches of Asian herbs and spices to it, which was delicious. It was good but the price mark was definitely too high than what it offers. Staffs were sweet and friendly. Took them a while to get around and attend every one. The table next to us had a hard time flagging them down or even talking to them. Overall friendly and not too overwhelming though, which we appreciate. The space was very beautiful. I personally love the decors and the bar. Lighting got REALLY dark really fast, we could barely see much. The straight-back seats were quite uncomfortable to sit in and became quite annoying as the time passed. Their music choice was interesting - REALLY popular songs that ranges in many different era. Quite contrast with the ageless mood they tried to set with the interior and the lighting. Their famous cookies were good but I wouldn’t say it was close to mind-blowing. I was expected something out of this world from all the influencers posting about it. It was a typical chocolate chip cookies with cream top. Delicious but that was it. Price range was definitely over the top comparing to what they offered. Overall we had a good time. Glad we went there to try but probably won’t be back.”
