“Had the most delightful experience this morning. It has been a minute. Not many restaurants pay attention to the subtle details anymore, something lost in time I guess: The Valentine delivers. I’ve been here before, but first time for breakfast. Rachel was amazing. The cocktails, even as simple as a friggin screwdriver, were executed with care and to perfection. I witnessed everything behind the bar being done with purpose, and judging by food, the kitchen runs the same. You will not be disappointed.”

“Amazing vibe and the food was delicious! Jenny was the BEST waitress—after overhearing us talk about the pastry options, she surprised us with a complimentary one, which was such a sweet touch. The breakfast tacos may seem simple, but they had such a surprisingly great flavor. The blue corn tamale bowl was unique and very filling—the mole had a slight kick, but paired perfectly with the rest of the dish. The squash roll was beautiful; not overly sweet, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the pistachios 😋 We also enjoyed the mimosa (not usually my go-to, but this one was super refreshing) and their version of a Bloody Mary was SO good! Perfect first stop after our flight into Phoenix, I will definitely be back!”

“A 5 star experience from start to finish! We arrived and were immediately greeted by a very friendly host who sat us at a great table facing the kitchen and right next to the bar it was fun to watch the chefs at work. Both the host and our waiter gave us excellent recommendations. The food was spectacular. The Elote Pasta was incredible, but the ribs were the absolute standout—honestly the best ribs I have ever had. To drink, we enjoyed wines from France and Austria that were both excellent. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of inviting, cozy, elegant, and romantic. I highly recommend Valentine to anyone looking for a top tier dining experience in Phoenix.”

“My boyfriend and I came here for an early dinner and had such an amazing experience at Valentine. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and worked together so seamlessly that it made our entire experience feel effortless and relaxed. We ordered a variety of small plates to share, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. This is such a perfect spot for a date night, but would also be great with a group of friends doing the same family style dining. The ambiance really stood out too, there was great, easy-going background music and a vibe that felt very Southwest mid-century modern with a cool, artsy touch, (but not pretentious at all!) Everything felt genuine and thoughtfully curated. We loved everything about our visit and can’t wait to come back next time with friends for another dinner and to check out their brunch menu!”

“Had coffee and croissants (which were awesome!) one day and knew I had to come back for dinner! We had the pretzel to start which was almost like a dessert and delicious. The baby gem lettuce was also fantastic and had a great dressing. For mains we had the elote pasta which was buttery and rich, and the fresh pasta was so tasty. The toppings added a nice texture too. But our favorite by far was the Trout. It was perfectly cooked, had the crispiest skin, and topped with fresh herbs and pickled red onions (I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, pickled red onions make everything taste better.) The atmosphere was great and our server was so fun! We will be back! And for their breakfast you can’t go wrong with their savory croissants or their churro croissant! So amazing!”
