Aspens Signature Steaks is a Steakhouse restaurant in the Marietta neighborhood of Marietta.
“My boyfriend and I went to Aspens to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious but what made our dinner the best was Michael G and his service. Michael was very attentive and made sure that we enjoyed every single thing about our dinner and that we had a memorable dinner. His attention and care was amazing, I would return to Aspens just for Michael’s service 20/10. He’s amazing and would go the extra mile for you. Thank you so much Michael for a wonderful night, you are THE BEST!”
“This is a fine dining experience with excellently prepared fare that is far above the usual fine dining. This is a way of stating the value of the experience, the food, the drinks, and the level of personal service is an incredible value for your hard earned revenue. We entered at 5:20PM and were immediately greeted by multiple happy people and then escorted to our table where we were again greeted by the young and happy water gentlemen, introduced to the restaurant and checked if we needed anything or had a question. This points at teamwork and pride in craft, something I rarely encounter in our world today. You can smile, but you cannot fake happiness and pride, and there is much for the staff to be proud of in this restaurant. Apparently the owner, manager, and staff are aware of the secret, "Teamwork makes the dream work." The decor is so warm and inviting, it can bring you away from where you were before you entered the establishment, instant ease is what I felt. The tables are roomy and the booths large and are separated to aid in conversation. Our Captain was Charles K, a definite professional on every level, he was able to settle us into the environment, determine our wants and needs, and be very attentive while allowing my girlfriend and I the opportunity to chat in privacy. He quickly determined what we were wanting and guided us to every available option, it wasn't an upsell, it's a professional showing you every possibility to ensure your experience under his care was flawless and joyful. You only get that from the best of the best. If you get there early there is an Early Bird menu that has a nice selection of delicious food. We ordered from the Dinner menu and selected their Duo Medallions which are two thick generous 4oz black angus tenderloins. It included a side and we chose the baked potato. I asked if we could split it and the Cesar salad as we are on the health conscious side but both love a good steak. It wasn't but a few seconds before we had a fresh loaf of bread with fresh whipped butter. Yeah, hate me, it's a carb, but I love bread...and when was the last time you sat for a meal and was presented with fresh whipped butter? I don't hardly touch it anymore, however fresh whipped butter, GIMMIE GIMME! We struggled to leave some of each behind, it was a warm welcome. We were just getting into the bread real good then bam, a perfectly time presentation of our split salad. Most restaurants will send out the salad and include an extra plate, not here, each 1/2 for professionally prepared and presented. The salad was all fresh ingredients and dressed perfectly, we really were enjoying it, forcing ourselves to stop just before our 2, four ounce Black Angus tenderloins with our side were presented. It was beautiful looking and we both looked at each other, smiled, and starting chatting as we went to slice off a piece of tenderloin, its butter soft, it was cooked to perfection, so moist, it was difficult for me to pace myself to truly enjoy this steak, I struggled, but I did and it made it such a worthwhile culinary experience. The side of the baked potato was huge, about twice the size that any other would offer. This is an example of a true fine dining experience. The last time I encountered such a culinary team was in the late 80’s at the Four Seasons in NY NY and in the early 80’s La Ruth’s in Gretna LA. I have been to many places since, and many get close, but not many nail it!”
“One of our local favorites! Delicious food, amazing ambience, friendly staff and an excellent wine selection. My steak has always been cooked perfectly here, just delicious. The sides are a generous shareable size. The sautéed Brussel sprouts are one of my favorites! I would definitely recommend, start with the wedge salad it’s one of my go to’s at Aspen’s.”
“I’m not sure why we haven’t came to dine here before and we’ve lived in East Cobb for over a decade but we made it to Aspens last night. I love the cabin vibe they have and how the waitstaff is dressed according to theme too! The waitress was so nice and helpful with our questions and requests. We tried the meatloaf, Cesar salad and Halibut. All the food was great and we really enjoyed it. I loved the halibut and had asked for it to be blackened and they obliged with no hesitation. The portions are generous so we ended up taking most of our dinners home. We look forward to bringing our whole family back.”
“My wife and I recently dined here expecting a nice evening, but unfortunately the experience fell far below expectations. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and were told the wait would be approximately 20 minutes. Instead, we waited over an hour and a half. During that time, we observed several parties who arrived after us being seated first. I also heard the host apologize to other guests for their wait, yet no one acknowledged us, provided updates, or offered any apology. After finally being seated, it took another 20 minutes before anyone greeted us or took our order, while nearby tables appeared to receive attentive service from the SAME server. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us to ensure everything was satisfactory. The food was equally disappointing. My steak was burnt and lacked flavor, and my wife ordered her steak well done but it arrived medium, making it inedible for her. I reached out privately to share this feedback and give the restaurant an opportunity to address the situation, but I never received a response. Honestly, we would have received better basic customer service at McDonald’s. For the price point, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the level of quality or service that should be expected.”
