“Classic Italian cuisine loved by the best foodies in the world! The veal marsala was incredible. The mozzarella peppers dish - world class. In Miami Beach this is a very high end restaurant with excellent quality, service, and beautiful art. Very old Hollywood Italian vibes. The seafood salad was fresh calamari and crab meat in a generous portion. Incredible wine selection. And Mama's meatballs are the best comfort food. Located right on the beach, next to Lowes. The manager is the sweetest Belgian man - who goes above and beyond. They are also very aware of food allergies and are very accommodating. 100% a must try, if not a regular beautiful experience.”

“If you’ve ever wondered whether Rao’s Miami Beach actually lives up to the hype—let me save you the suspense: it absolutely does. After a three-hour trek through Miami traffic (no small feat), we finally arrived, and from the moment we stepped inside, it felt like we’d been transported. The space is pure elegance with a nostalgic, old-school Italian charm—each room somehow more beautiful than the last, warm and intimate without feeling overdone. The service? Nothing short of astounding. Attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming in a way that made the whole evening feel special without ever feeling stiff. We started strong with the Caesar Salad, the Seafood Salad (an absolute must), and the baked clams—honestly, forget about it. Those clams alone are reason enough to come back. From there, the hits just kept coming: the Lobster Fra Diavolo was a standout, perfectly balanced with just the right kick, while the Rigatoni Bolognese and Ragu Tagliatelle delivered rich, comforting depth in every bite. The Bone-in Veal Chop was equally impressive—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And then there’s Uncle Vincent’s Lemon Chicken… easily one of the most memorable dishes of the night. Bright, perfectly balanced, and clearly built on some kind of legendary family recipe that they’re (thankfully) still holding onto. By the time dessert rolled around, expectations were high—and somehow still exceeded. The Tiramisu was as authentic as it gets, the Cheesecake was indulgent without being heavy, and the Peanut Butter Tart was the perfect final note to an already unforgettable meal. All in all, it was one of those rare nights where everything—from the journey to the last bite, it felt worth the journey. Rao’s isn’t just hype, it’s the real deal. And yes, I’ll absolutely be back.”

“I loved Rao's Miami! The food was amazing—my favorites were the meatballs and lemon chicken. The lemon chicken was so tender and juicy. The Penne Vodka was an excellent choice! The cannolis we ordered were tasty, though I might choose something else next time. Overall, the service was top-notch, the atmosphere was lively and inviting, and I would definitely go back.”

“Dinner was very good, but not spectacular and close to perfect like their NYC reputation would suggest. This was our first time here, we've never been to the NYC or Miami Beach restaurants but we have the Rao's cookbook and have heard about how it's pretty much impossible to get a reservation in NYC, so we had high expectations. Starting off, it was my birthday and I was presented with a beautiful birthday card, which I loved. The service was above average and friendly. The bread was served warm and it was tasty. My favorite menu selection was the roasted red peppers with burrata, it was absolutely delicious, I loved it. I definitely give that a 5 out of 5 stars. My fiancé started with the salsa alla marinara over linguine. He liked it and rated it 4 out of 5 stars. For our next course, I ordered the rigatoni bolognese but substituted the orecchiette pasta instead. I always order bolognese when I see it on a menu and I liked it but thought it could have been a little wetter, a little more saucy, but it was tasty. 4.5 out of 5 stars. My fiancé's entree was the chicken scarpariello. We both thought that the chicken and the sausage were a little dry but the peppers and onions were very tasty. It was above average, 3.5 out of 5. I ordered the peanut butter tart, which was delicious, definitely 5 out of 5 stars. Our server told us it was on the house for my birthday, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was loud. Music was playing in the background and for whatever reason, voices carried. The carpeting and upholstery didn't absorb any of the sound. It was difficult to hear my fiancé talking from across the table. 3 out of 5. Cool pictures on the walls, but having to constantly repeat ourselves over the noise was a pain. All that said, we would return. Next time, we will try the meatballs, chicken Parmesan and veal piccata, and I'd definitely get the roasted red peppers and burrata again. Maybe we'll make an earlier reservation so it won't be as busy and loud. We read that they have a dress code but saw several men wearing shorts, T-shirts and ball caps. It was a little surprising that they don't enforce their dress code.”
