“Amazing service from the moment we arrived. The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and our waiter, Tomás, was super friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe with truffle, and it was outstanding—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant 100%. We will definitely be coming back! 😊🍝✨”
“Often forgotten is how nice a peaceful nook when in such a busy area like South beach That's Amore! There was indoor and outdoor seating but due to the heat indoor was chosen. The service was attentive and our waiter was polite and helpful. The food came out fairly fast and well made. The salmon Ravioli was warm and filling. Not too much sauce which is often the downfall of this dish. 9/10 The house Ceasar salad is a measuring stick as it tell you how much effort is put by the restaurant into one of the most simple items. It was fresh and tasty 10/10. The biggest surprise was the bruschetta. It was 3 very full slices and the tomato was soo flavorful. 10/10 One expresso Martini and the night was off to a good start would recommend for someone trying to hide away before heading into the night that is South Beach. Great experience all around.”
“I had the linguine seafood pasta which wasn’t overly greasy and had a rich taste. I got a huge shrimp which was very flavorful, squid, clams and the cherry tomatoes. There definitely is room for improvement on their service. I came a second time on Monday night to get the margarita pizza and to be honest this one was a disappointment. Don’t order the pizza.”
“We dined at That’s Amore in Miami and had a mixed experience overall. Our server, Marcela, was excellent and truly the highlight of the evening. She was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She guided me well wrt vegetarian options. Being Italian, she explained dishes clearly and made thoughtful suggestions. The food took a while to arrive, though we were given complimentary bread while waiting. I ordered the Spaghetti Alla Nerano (without shrimp), and my date had the mushroom risotto. The pasta was okay for my taste — I personally would have preferred more sauce or cream. I understand the dish is traditionally prepared a certain way, but I enjoyed it more after adding some salt (just my personal preference). The risotto was decent in taste, although it didn’t look particularly appealing. The truffle fries were quite good, and the virgin mango mojito was refreshing with fresh mint. There were a few comfort issues during our visit. First, try to avoid the tables with a single large center leg — they are not very comfortable for seating. Additionally, the AC above our table was dripping water. When we informed the staff, they moved us to another table, but the seat cushions there were damp, and the tablecloth had visible glass ring marks. These details made the experience feel less polished. If you’re visiting during cooler weather, I would recommend requesting a table well inside and away from the entrance door, as it can get chilly near the front.”
“First when we arrived we were taken to a table that was still dirty and the hostess cleaned it while we stop waiting right next to the cramped tables because the tables are so close together you can barely walk by. And our service wasn’t the best. Our server took a long time to greet us when we sat down. And they greeted someone else that sat down after us. We only ordered water for our drinks which took a long time to get too. We ordered an appetizer it took a long time to come out. The table that came after us got their food before us and it was a pizza. We started watching a show on our friends phone and we got through almost 2 20minute episodes. This is after waiting about 15 minutes. Finally when our appetizer arrived it came with our entree. And all of our food was barely warm. And the texture tasted like the pasta wasn’t cooked all the way. For how much the prices were on the menu we were honestly expecting a bigger portion. I’ve personally seen bigger portions at Olive Garden. And after we paid we realized that there was a 20% automatic gratuity which neither our server or our menus said anything about.”
