“The place looks aesthetically pleasing. Lots of noise from the hibachi area. The birthday celebration is unique. The sushi and sashimi pieces were very good. The rolls were also very good quality. The miso soup was nice and flavorful. The shrimpt tempuras were well battered and very crispy. Worthwhile AYCE place”

“Updating my review. Samurai Sushi and Hibachi in Bloomington used to be a lot better with their service and their food. This last visit, the waitress was rude. After getting some teriyaki chicken and some fried rice, the waitress came up and kept saying the sushi bar is closed and doesn’t know when it would be open again. She said I’d have to wait an indefinite amount of time for it to reopen and when it did they would be extremely slow if I wanted any sushi. It took almost an hour to get a couple orders of chicken and beef teriyaki. Absolutely absurd. I don’t know who is running that place now but they need to be relieved of their position. After all this, they still had the audacity to charge me full price. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will never be returning to this place. Save your money and go literally anywhere else!”
