Fonda Nashville is a neighborhood restaurant serving authentic, elevated Mexican fare driven by acclaimed Chef and Partner Roberto Santibañez. With the original concept opening in Brooklyn, New York fifteen years ago, Santibañez, along with local restaurateurs, bring a fresh take on Fonda to the idyllic 12 South neighborhood at 2316 12th Ave. Santibañez, an award-winning cookbook author, restaurateur and steward of Mexican cuisine, opened his Nashville “comida” this May 2024. The menu distinguishes itself with a focus on small, shareable contemporary plates. These dishes will range from Queso Fundido and Ensalada Fresca to a Mexican take on Zarape de Pato and a desirable Wagyu Con Mole de Avellanas. For the table, you can order build-your-own taco boards or enchiladas baked homestyle.
