“We had such a lovely Valentine’s Day here. The staff was exceptionally attentive and gracious from the moment we arrived. It was clearly one of the busiest nights of the year, and while there was a slight delay with the entrees, it was completely understandable given the volume. The food was beautifully executed and absolutely worth the wait. What really stood out was the staff’s composure and professionalism. Even under pressure, everyone remained warm and accommodating. The hostess even offered us a glass of sake while we waited. We would truly love to see them continue to thrive and grow in New Haven. Hachiroku is such special addition to the city.”

“Locals rave about this restaurant and for good reason - the sashimi is succulent and fresh, Japanese delicacies such as uni are surprisingly well chosen and the sake flights of course are outstanding. Only quibble is it really does feel like an aged, not well kept Western bar inside”
