“Probably our favorite steak in town. No menu, but never a bad meal. We like sitting at the bar talking to Paul.”
“We had a perfectly wonderful dinner for a group of 35 people. It was perfect. My good friend who has been in the cattle business for decades said he never had a better steak. Erica, Sara and Jimmy took care of us. The service was great. This is a perfect and very hospitable place. No pretense, just great food, good drinks and perfect service. Bravo to Gene and his crew!!”
“Stopped by Charlie's for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday. The crowd was light and the place felt cozy. Best part was we walked right in. Seated immediately. The staff was extremely kind and didn't waste our time. Drinks and food landed fast. The food was exploding with flavor. The Ribeye was a beautiful cut. Had that perfect, crispy sear on the outside and was juicy on the inside. Seasoning was spot on. But the sides? Wow. The potatoes au gratin were the hands-down best I've ever had. Creamy and rich. The crabmeat au gratin was fantastic too. French Onion soup was super cheesy. Just how I like it. Old-fashioned was perfect. Wine list was just OK. A bit small. Steaks are obviously awesome. But the potatoes blew me away. Best meal I've had in a long time.”
“Great night for my family of 5! We enjoyed everything! We were taken care of by Sara and her coworkers. Our family of 5 started with the half order of onion rings and a few glasses of the Caymus blend. Our entree's included a couple t-bones, ribeye, pork chop and tuna steak. For sides, we ordered the crab au gratin, potato au gratin, creamed spinach, broccoli, steak fries, and mushrooms. We finished with a small cup of coffee, the tiramisu, and the pistachio ice cream. Reservations are highly recommended!”
“The best thing about the restaurant was our server. She was kind and attentive. The food on the other hand was sub par at best. The “medium” $58 steak was so rare it was purple on the inside on a hot plate full of oil. When dropped off we were offered A1 or Heinz 57. I should have known then….no good steakhouse offers any kind of sauce! The sides, salad and onions straws eh. Would not recommend or return.”
