“Tldr: dine their and don't order delivery, they can't get their orders right. I keep kosher, so this place is a regular for me as an UES resident. Going there for omakase is a pretty good experience, perfect for a date night if u don't mind being shoulder to shoulder with strangers (though that's just the nature of omakase). The food is great, chef's clearly are pros. The fish is fresh, not as fresh as KOMA but who wants to make the trip to brooklyn.. Overall, dining there is a pleasant experience. So why the 3 stars? I constantly have trouble ordering food from them and the last one was a really horrible experience. I orders two rolls, one for me and one for my wife (the rolls are huge). The roll I selected on uber eats was called "hamachi w/ fresh jalapenos" and the photo was clearly a roll. They sent me sashimi instead. I was too hungry and it was just not enough food for me. I called them and instead of just admitting their mistake they argued with me for 10 minutes, told me they can't make the roll now (even though it was 30 mins before closing time), and told me they would refund the item. They never refunded the item. I'm not going to waste my time calling them to argue for another half hour and from now on I'll just order from osaka, they get their orders right every time.”
