“I’ve been in the sushi world for many years and consider myself very well versed, so I had heard many things about Sushi Amane before coming in. This was my first time returning this year, and I was very impressed. The overall experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was thoughtful, refined, and beautifully presented, and the customer service made the evening feel warm, personal, and memorable. I also really loved the unique feeling of discovering a speakeasy within the restaurant. It added another layer to the experience and made the night feel even more special. Overall, I loved the experience and would absolutely recommend Sushi Amane to anyone looking for a memorable omakase evening in New York.”

“This is the highest quality sushi I've ever tasted in New York. Except for the first appetizer, which was not ideal, the other appetizers and sushi were much higher quality. The chef's skills are also very outstandingly. I will come to this restaurant again.”

“Don’t love it. For the price, it’s too boring. A lot of cooked fish. Uni was just ok, not sweet. Service is also slow. When I asked for extra wasabi, they asked for additional charge for wasabi?!? I mean we paid over $600 for 2 people I don’t think they should do this.”
