On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming. A true neighborhood gem that never loses its touch!”

“Went on 2025-02-14. It was valentine set menu. Uni egg custard was absolutely delicious. Squid and octopus were both really well executed and the caviar pairing was a great idea. Was a bit skeptical about the fried chicken at first, but I’m glad we ordered it. It was marinated with pineapples and double fried. Couldn’t really taste the pineapples but it does have a subtle refreshing taste to it. Dipping sauce was great. Love that they have a good variety of seasonal dishes. Overall 5 stars!”

“Every course was excellent! I came with my wife and we shared, so we got to try two different dishes for each course. The uni dish was incredible. The squid dish is very special. Both entrees are equally good. We paid for the fried chicken. The portion is small but it was piping hot and melts in your mouth. It’s worth the try. If I had to pick my favorites: sea urchin, squid, fried chicken, and the steamed rice that came with the entrees.”

“Went on Oct 15th. The sweet potato ice cream was absolutely fantastic and my favorite dessert of the year. And I eat a lot of dessert. It tasted so sweet potato-y, and had charred smokey little crumbles and a date caramel sauce that evoked the taste of a nice fire roasted sweet potato. If I could just buy this dessert, I would every week. I went with a friend, so we tried 2 prie fixe orders. The sea urchin egg jjim was also great. The rest were okay or not great for the price. We had the bluefin tuna, the fluke, the squid, sweet shrimp, suyuk, pork galbi and fried chicken.”

“We had an unfortunate situation while eating the pork ribs. My boyfriend bit down on a small bone fragment that was mixed into the meat, which made his molar very sensitive. We were not eating the ribs directly off the bone. We had separated the meat with chopsticks, so it was pretty unexpected to find a hard bone piece in the meat. I mentioned it to the manager mainly as a heads up for future reference, not because we were looking for anything in return. However, the response felt dismissive and a bit frustrating considering what had just happened. I was told that ribs are normally like that and was offered ice cream even though I had just explained that his tooth had become very sensitive. What was also disappointing was that no one asked if he was okay, and the conversation was directed only to me rather than checking on the person who was actually hurt. Our original server also seemed to disappear midway through service, which added to the overall confusion. It was a Thursday evening around 8 pm. While it wasn’t extremely busy, the small dining room layout meant the servers were somewhat spread out, which made it harder to get attention when we were ready to pay. My boyfriend ended up stepping out to move the car while asking for the check, and the response felt a little too casual given the earlier situation. That said, aside from this situation, we actually really enjoyed the food. As someone who grew up with Korean food, I thought the dishes were creative and interesting while still tasting great. The seasoning felt very balanced. Nothing was overly salty, sweet, or bland, and the flavors left a pleasant aroma and aftertaste without feeling greasy or heavy. I’m also a fairly picky eater, but the food here even made me want to try dishes I normally would not order. The beef tartare was great, the squid was very good, and the octopus was probably my favorite. The pork ribs were actually one of the dishes we enjoyed the most, which made the situation even more unfortunate. The kimchi and pickled sides were also nice palate cleansers between bites. Because we enjoyed the food so much, the service response was especially disappointing. If the service improves, this is still a place I would recommend.”
