“To the owners at Cafe Paulette. I wanted to take a moment to share what an exceptional experience I had at your restaurant largely because of one remarkable employee, Trent. In today’s world, truly outstanding service seems harder and harder to find, which is why Trent’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine respect for customers stood out so much. From the moment he greeted us, he was warm, attentive, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. He treated us with such kindness that he genuinely made our dining experience special. What impressed me most was that his behavior didn’t feel forced or rehearsed. It was clear that being a gentleman comes naturally to him, and I could see that he treated everyone in the restaurant with the same level of care and respect. Employees like Trent are rare, and I was honestly blown away by his service. Because of him, I will absolutely be returning to your restaurant and will be bringing other family members with me as well. Please know that you are very fortunate to have someone like Trent representing your establishment. He is a tremendous asset to your team and a wonderful reflection of the values your restaurant stands for. Not to mention the food was yummy. Especially the fries so, so, so good!!! Thank you, Trent!!”
“Came here for brunch and it was amazing!! The croque madame and monseur was unbelievably delicious! Highly recommend. The service staff were very friendly and welcoming! This place fits the bill for comfort neighborhood French bistro”
“Cafe Paulette really is an authentic piece of Paris in Brooklyn. The atmosphere is warm, charming, and effortlessly French, while the food is délicieux. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the trout was perfectly prepared, and the apple tarte tatin was magnifique. The wine selection is also very good. What also stands out is the owner’s dedication to quality and’s high standards, something that she is proud of, just ask her. It is not just neighborhood bistro and is worth a visit if you find yourself in need of French comfort food.”
“Excellent location! Prices are very steep. Menu is kind of small and not super exciting. Only a few wines that are available by the glass :( The service is great, everybody was accomodating and checked on us frequently. Food and drink also came out pretty quickly. Salmon burger was a little dry. The french fries are perfect!”
“I’ve been a few times and to sum it up; a very cute restaurant with a decent atmosphere. Went on Valentines night and the service was attentive and the busser was so very sweet! The burrata with balsamic was good on its own, but with the pear frisée salad; it was way overdressed and lacking croutons. I will say the pomme frites are by far my favorite and I hope they have the veggie burgers & salads back as they didn’t that night. To end it all, one of the waiters suggested a very delicious off-dry white wine that I’ve been hunting down and will have to try again!”
