“Had a wonderful experience at Pine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent without feeling rushed, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I would definitely return and recommend Pine to anyone looking for a great dining experience.”
“I love the pine restaurant. Lewis was my waiter tonight and he was very kind and patient. I ordered a meal and forgot to change the sauce, he spoke with the manager. The manager Arturo came over and offered to accommodate me to my liking. They were both both so kind and professional. I was and am truly grateful for the professionalism they show especially in today’s world. Truly grateful”
“I’ve been coming to Frankie & Johnny’s (Pine Restaurant) since I was a kid. Everything was as amazing as ever. Our server Johnny was friendly, attentive, funny, and had a warm demeanor that made us feel right at home, The food, forget about it. Delicious flavor, everything tasted fresh and made with love, and the portions are family style, which is very nice. The bread and salad are fresh and delicious as well- and lets you know that what’s to come is going to blow you away. I can’t wait to come back, and of course we’ll be asking to be seated with Johnny.”
“We took our neices for a reunion dinner. Had a great night. We split the porterhouse for two among the 4 of us and had a house salad and linguini with white clam sauce... Drinks dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, service was attentive and friendly. The place is beautiful. Also loved the valley parking!”
“I chose this restaurant for Father's Day because I had such a wonderful experience here previously while celebrating my grandparents' 80th birthday. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. While we were seated promptly for our 4:30 PM reservation, the service quickly went downhill. Our server was consistently dismissive and rude, from making condescending comments when we asked a simple menu question to rolling his eyes when my brother tried to place a to-go order. We waited approximately 90 minutes for our entrées, which I understand can happen on a busy holiday, but what was unacceptable was the lack of communication and the fact that we had to repeatedly flag our server down for drink refills and updates. At one point, the server told us our food was delayed because we had "chosen to come at the busiest time," despite having a reservation. Management was aware of the delay but never came to our table to address the situation. The restaurant also appeared poorly maintained, with dirty dishes piled near our table and no effort made to properly clear our table throughout the meal. The final straw came when our leftovers were being packed up and dirty plates were stacked on top of food we were taking home. When my father questioned it, the busser simply replied, "That's how we do things here." As someone who spent five years managing an upscale Italian restaurant and continues to work in the hospitality industry, I understand that holidays can be challenging. Delays happen. However, professionalism, communication, and basic hospitality standards should never disappear because a restaurant is busy. This was easily the worst restaurant experience my family has had, especially disappointing given how much we were looking forward to celebrating Father's Day here. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.”
