“Gersi is truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Brooklyn. The food is absolutely incredible, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The Chicken Parmigiana was outstanding—perfectly crispy, tender, and flavorful, topped with rich sauce and melted cheese. Every bite was delicious. The Aperol Spritz was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and exactly what I was craving. A special shoutout to Luis, the bartender, who is incredibly attentive and makes amazing drinks. His service and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. David, the host, was so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we walked in. The managers were also fantastic, making sure everything was perfect and that every guest felt taken care of. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and an amazing team. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Gersi to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Brooklyn!”

“Highly Recommend!! A Lovely place! Enjoyed outdoor seating. We had excellent Service: waiter’s and staff all were attentive & pleasant. Food: Excellent selections available both from menu and specials . Once ordered our wait time for our drinks & meal came quickly. We ordered Mixed Green salad coupled with pears and gorgonzola cheese! The Pears were perfectly ripe! Mixed with a nice lite dressing. We also ordered one of the specials. A delicious Homemade pasta with tender peas and cut up Asparagus, perfectly prepared and delicately seasoned -tossed with lite fresh flavorful tomato sauce. The portions were a nice size. Desert: Delicious Affogato!”

“I had an amazing experience at Gersi. I took my dad for his birthday over the holidays and when we arrived, they have a “happy birthday” sign on the table. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. The espresso martini I had was very tasty. We ordered three pastas to share… carbonara, spaghetti al limone with grilled chicken (my favorite) and rigatoni ragu. Delicious dishes! We will be back :)”

“I was looking for an authentic Italian experience and I found it! Handmade pasta and the BEST house sauces (lemon, cream, red - everything is uniquely delicious). Generous portions of crab and other proteins. Try the veal meatballs and mushroom bruschetta. Explore vegetarian options too! They can sub today’s house pasta in most dishes which I love. Ask for the specials because they tend to have many off-menu options every day. Seating is somewhat intimate but never uncomfortable. The server was so attentive despite a full house on a weekend.”

“Made a reservation online. Waited 20 minutes before we were seated. 1st table was outside near the dish pit. We asked to move tables, waited another 20 mins to be sat inside near another trash pit. Took another 30 mins to take our order and when the food finally arrived it was just okay. Bad service and mediocre food was a bummer. I remember this place being good years ago.”
