Located in the heart of Williamsburg. The Bedford offers upscale pub cuisine and a casual neighborhood dining experience. From our classic Bedford Plank burger to seasonally sourced oysters and seafood, and local meats, our menu offers classic food with an eclectic fair. Our wine list encompasses well known European and New World varietals as well as lesser known gems. We also offer hand crafted cocktails, many of which are adaptations of the classics. The space occupies the site of a former garage and the design of the restaurant was meant to evoke a rustic charm. While the front dining room and bar offer a casual and intimate atmosphere to have coffee, drinks, brunch or dinner, the back room and bar are perfect for after-work cocktails or late night drink with friends.
“Got the classic burger and the Mac n cheese burger. Both delicious, flavorful and so rich. The fries were a standout too seasoned perfectly and crispy. This is a perfect stop for a lunch or dinner or drinks!!! It is perfect for any occasion. Love coming here what a gem”
“Most amazing experience for my birthday! Service was top tier, food was amazing and the vibe was relaxed and welcoming! You MUST try the Mac n cheese burger!”
“This place is the total Brooklyn vibe. Good food, great music, best service. Everyone was smiling so genuinely.”
“The Bedford turned out to be a great stop, and the mac and cheese burger was the highlight of the visit. It was rich, flavorful, and cooked just right, with the mac and cheese adding a creamy texture that made the whole thing stand out. The portion was solid, and the burger came out hot and well assembled, not messy or falling apart. The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable and inviting, with quick service and a clean dining area that made the experience even better. It’s a good spot to relax, have a satisfying meal, and try something a little different from the usual burger options.”
“This place used to be somewhat welcoming & decent American-French restaurant....however, last visit for a quick dinner was disappointing experience. I ordered a glass of wine and fish & chips. The waitress gave me a tasting of wine, which was nice. Fish was well cooked. But fries were COATED WITH LOTS OF SALT and old bay seasoning. (See the photo) I told the other waitress staff the fries were way too salty and asked if kitchen can make a plain fries. But this wait staff denied, saying "This is the way we cook and serve. Even if you don't like it, and even if we cook again for you, it will be the same fries." So I wanted to talk to the original waitress, but he denied to call her with cynical laugh....at this point, I was done. I asked a check. Right before I paid, she showed up, apologized. She didn't charge for the wine. Also right before I leave, the manager came to me and asked me what happened, also offered some wine or plain fries. But there was no point of getting any other drinks or food from there, as I was ready to leave.”
