“Outside of a chance encounter in Japan a few years back, I haven't seen my high school classmate @toneyloo in probably over 30 years! I told myself that if I ever got out to New York, a visit with Tony is a must, where he owns and operates his own award winning neighborhood restaurant in Jackson Heights called @thequeensboro. I was so happy seeing how crowded and well received it was when we arrived. No surprise, seeing how super onolicious everything was, including scratch made spam, Garlic Clam Bread, Linguini with Shrimp & Chorizo, Cheeseburgers, Pork Adobo, Monkfish Piccatta with Lemon, Caoers, Parsley Potatoes, Roasted Jerk Chicken, Chocolate Pudding, Creme Brulee, and more! Next time you visit New York, support this local boy doing good in the Big Apple. The Queensboro is a definite must stop! 🤤🤙🏼”

“Epic. Spot. Super chill vibe. Awesome they cool with dogs. And even gave my Colombian pup a treat. The veggies were spectacular. Really enjoyed the beets and squash. My friend got the red wine chicken which was also super scrumptious and tasty. Very grateful to have spent time here. Highly recommend and then do ur self a favor and shake off ur tail feather calories across the street at Salvaje. Epic area in Jackson Heights. Hope I see you there it’s warming uppp. 😎😎”

“My boyfriend and I came here for a Valentine's Day party. Tulip and Rose cocktails hosted the event here. The drinks were affordable and tasty. One of the cocktails changed colors when you added lemon juice (I added a video). There were plenty of seats to pick from. You can sit at the bar, sit at a table, or sit at a booth. There is plenty of sunlight coming in the windows. The kitchen is cook-to-order and everything is fresh/hot. I definitely will come back and I highly recommend this establishment!”

“Food was okay overall. We had the avocado toast with poached eggs , and two eggs with potatoes. It tasted like standard diner-style food. Coffee options were limited to regular coffee only. Service was fine.”

“Very disappointed and genuinely feel robbed. Loved this place before yesterday. There was a fixed menu for Father’s Day where the normal menu was literally just double the price and you had to fight to get what you wanted. The burger is normally 20, but Father’s Day? 42 dollars. Chilaquiles 21 dollars but Father’s Day? 42 dollars… because hey happy Father’s Day. We wanted different cheese on our burgers, but it was a negotiation to do so, we couldn’t go “off the menu,” but… it’s cheese… I’ve never in my life been told that I couldn’t get the cheese that I wanted on my burger, we paid 500 dollars in total and were given a hard time about changing the cheese on our burgers… 42 dollars for a breakfast platter (eggs toast & potatoes)… AND we had to ask and prompt for the bread and fruit that “came with the $42 per person” menu… I’ve gone to high end restaurants and spent 100-200 per person without concern and have been treated like royalty and the opposite as well, spent less and treated excellently. This experience was so odd. Had we just gotten the orders we wanted the way we wanted them off the regular menu the bill would have been significantly less and we would have been way happier. What a weird weird way to price gouge your local clientele on a special day. Oh and I wanted bacon on my burger too… nope that’s off the menu… but there was a breakfast platter WITH bacon on the menu… make it make sense? So my mother who ordered the breakfast platter just gave me a slice of her bacon, but wait… they tried to charge for that bacon that I negotiated for my burger that they never put on my burger. Then my burger came out with the HARDEST top bun, I thought it was just me and I didn’t want to be a negative Nancy, but oh my aunt who got a burger too (who they also gave a hard time about changing the cheese on) had the same experience, bun like a rock. Charge 42 for the burger fine, but make it perfectly, nope. Incorrect temp and hard stale buns. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this genuinely feels like a robbery, my mother swore she’d never come back to this place and was literally about to cry because she wanted to take us out for Father’s Day but felt robbed of her hard earned money. Anyone can just cook at home, but you go out for the good food and experience, this was not worth it at all and we won’t be coming back. Please do better.”
