“Brooklyn native but just moved into this area with my man, so we had to check this place out. Stopped in mid-day for food and drinks and it did not disappoint! We ordered karaage, hamachi crudo, a roll, shishito peppers, brussel sprouts, scallop ceviche, and the spicy salmon crispy rice. Everything hittt Had some unfiltered sake and a cocktail. And Mikey behind the bar was amazing, super attentive, made excellent recommendations, and took care of us the whole time. One of the best food and service experiences we’ve had in Brooklyn. New neighborhood spot unlocked. We’ll be back.”
“I really enjoyed the design of the menu, the flatware, plates and bowls. The food was also excellent too. I went during brunch hours with a friend . I had a Cesar salmon salad miso soup and fried katsu chicken which i ordered to go. We sat in the garden. Someone had a dog which turned me off a little but at least it was far from our table. The service was good too. I had my first espresso martini.”
“Went late on a Saturday and was able to get a seat at the bar. A lovely almost westernish theme on the outside. Enjoyed the cucumber salad, premium Cali roll, crispy tuna dinner, matcha pie and vanilla icecream. Service was quick and great. Crispy tuna and matcha pie was the best”
“Dimly lit and intimate feel; the tables are pretty close together though, so it’s easy to over hear conversations / it can get loud. Mushroom salad was really tasty; most of the mushrooms are underneath the bed of spinach. Karrage was also great, the sauce + squeeze of lemon really make it. Not pictured, but defining a favorite was the Eggplant Dengaku. Just be careful bc it is piping hot. The miso black cod was also nice, but a bit oily for me.”
“Had a quick lunch after yoga. The tea was really great. I ordered the mushroom salad (im not a huge salad eater so i wanted to step out of my comfort zone). I did not regret it as it was quite tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the sushi i ordered - it was a fried rice sushi w salmon on top - it was ok but a little heavy. The fries were delicious and service was great even with 2 different servers. I will go again. Updates to come.”
