“I Sashimi platter is the best bang for your buck. If you think you are lost then you are at the right place. Super good quality fish I orecently ate at Watami Sushi, and it was definitely one of the best experiences I had in a long time. Even though I've eaten sushi only a few times, this was 100% my favorite of those times. The sushi was affordable and delicious, with my favorites being the bluefin tuna and the king salmon (you should try it). It was a few days ago when I came to the spot. I didn't have much money at the time, but I was still able to have a good time at the place. The environment is enjoyable, and it provides a relaxed and engaging/personalized experience for me. Each dish is prepared right in front of you so you know each cuisine is made with care and precision. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and it practically melts in your mouth. Overall, even if you don't like sushi, I would recommend you to stop by this place and check it out. I've sent pictures of my favorites and the whole combination below.”
“This is my second time coming here and I love it! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. The servers are super friendly, food comes really fast. I went around 5-5.30 pm and it was quiet and not crowded, perfect for conversations”
“The sushi is fresh and tasty! The vibe was nice too, they refill your tea and they have a good lunch special menu!”
“Came here for the lunch menu special here. I was a couple mintues late, little did I know the time. But the good side is that they honored the lunch special even though I was a couple mintues late. The place is still quite during work hours. Location is close to the tourist areas but not much foot traffic yet accessible. They have a nice variety of food and drinks to choose from. Sushi and the rice is freshly made and served quick. I haven't come here during the busiest hours after work yet. I would come here again with a friend or partner for next time. Great food I can imagine having more for next time. Keep up the hood work.”
“Visited with my family and had a pleasant time overall. The atmosphere was nice and gave me a bit of a nostalgic feel of Japan. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they explained the menu clearly. Seating was comfortable and the service was quick, which we appreciated. As for the food, the flavors didn’t quite meet our expectations and presentation was quite simple. We started with miso soup, but the flavor was quite bland. Then came the edamame and the Exclusive Sushi Premium set. unfortunately, the taste didn’t meet expectations, especially for a sushi place in New York. It didn’t feel like great value for money. While the service was excellent, I don’t think I’d return.”
