“My husband surprised me with dinner at Edo Boy for my birthday, and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Orlando. We did the Baller Set omakase, and every course felt like a work of art. The quality of the fish was exceptional some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever had and each bite was carefully crafted with flavors that were both creative and perfectly balanced. One thing I loved was that the experience felt fun and interactive. Instead of a traditional seated omakase, we stood at the sushi counter, which made it feel more casual, social, and engaging. Watching the chefs prepare each course right in front of us added so much to the experience and gave us a chance to appreciate the skill and attention to detail behind every bite. Some of my favorites were the Toro & Caviar, Salmon Crunch, XO Hamachi, OG Smash, and the incredible seared nigiri. The combination of bluefin tuna, uni, caviar, truffle, and other premium ingredients was absolutely amazing without ever feeling overdone. Every course had its own personality, and somehow each one seemed better than the last. The atmosphere was intimate, energetic, and unlike anywhere else I’ve been in Orlando. My husband and I found ourselves talking about each course long after we ate it, trying to decide which was our favorite. If you’re a sushi lover or looking for a unique spot to celebrate a special occasion, Edo Boy is absolutely worth it. Between the incredible fish, creative preparations, and interactive standing omakase experience, it was the perfect birthday dinner.”
“i lovedddd it second time here and every bite was amazing. The sweet prawn was the star of the show for me, the hand roll with the sweet prawn was also sooooo good. I love the ambiance and how well the staff treats you. The miso soup at the end is so delicious and just what you need to finish off the meal. I love this place soooo much. 10/10”
“Definitely a must-try for sushi lovers living in Florida. I can see why they are so highly rated and really enjoyed their Baller Set. Highlights of the night were definitely the Toro & Caviar, Shrimp & Eggs, OG Smash Temaki, and Unagi & Foie. I hear they are coming up with a new “omakase” set and am looking forward to returning and trying it out. Hopefully the new set has a temaki roll or two added so that I can try those next time.”
“A fun sushi concept at reasonable prices! Recommended the seasonal omakase from staff, which was well prepared by Chef Alex. Paired the fish with Otokoyama sake, which was well worth. Hotate, Hamachi, Miso and the Matcha dessert were standouts! Worth checking out”
“I wish I liked Edoboy Sushi as much as everyone else did, but they taste the same as any other sushi restaurant. I don’t find them that special, unique, or one-of-a-kind. Everything was pretty average to me, and there was no interaction between me and the chef. My friend and I were placed in a weird location for two short girls. It was by the sink, so we had no view at all of the sushi-making process and we couldn’t see anything on either sides of us. The price point is high for a bad standing arrangement and average sushi.”
