“We came here as a group to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant immediately stands out with its beautiful design and modern atmosphere. It's one of those places that's incredibly Instagram-worthy, and throughout the evening we noticed plenty of people taking photos both inside and outside the restaurant. Everything was clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, making it a great setting for a special occasion. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a modern and upscale feel. Every detail seems carefully thought out, from the lighting to the overall design of the space. It's easy to see why so many people stop to take pictures here. The restaurant was spotless and created a great atmosphere for celebrating with friends and family. Service - Service was excellent throughout the evening. Our waitress was personable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff did a great job making sure our group was taken care of, and everything flowed smoothly despite the size of our party. What We Ordered - -Wagyu Dumplings - Filled with feta, onion, and lemon mint yogurt. Very good, rich and flavorful with a nice balance from the yogurt. -Crispy Rice - Topped with tuna, avocado, and olive. Also very good, with great texture contrast and fresh flavors. -The Spreads - Served with fresh pita bread and spiced rice crackers. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. -Shrimp Kadaifi - Very good. Crispy, flavorful, and a great starter. -Charred Octopus - A must-order dish. Extremely tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. -Lamb Ribs - Another standout item. The meat was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. -Filet Mignon Kebab - Very good. Tender, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. -Chilean Sea Bass - Flaky, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. -Lamb Chops - Cooked perfectly medium rare and paired with amazing layered potato fries. Easily one of the best dishes of the night and another must-order item. -Braised Short Rib - Served with dill bao buns and pickled onions. The short rib was rich, tender, and paired really well with the light acidity from the pickled onions and the soft bao buns. -Chicken - Served with basmati rice and packed with great flavor. Final Thoughts - This was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was excellent, and every dish we ordered was delicious. It's not often that an entire table agrees on so many menu items, but Almyra delivered across the board. We would absolutely return again, and I would highly recommend it for special occasions, celebrations, or anyone looking for a memorable meal.”
“I formerly resided across the street at the historical "Warwick". This restaurant sits in the exact location of the former legendary diner "Little Pete's". I've been waiting to get in for dinner. Had a 9 pm reservation. Restaurant was packed. Great Ambience. Perfectly lit. Was sat on time at 9 despite the crowd. Everything from bottom up, WAS AMAZING. From the hostesess who have as tuff a job as anyone hosting in Rittenhouse, down to the final drop of coffee, we were beyond impressed. Started with Martinis, made perfectly.. couldn't believe how quickly our apps arrived (0ctoous, Grilled veggies, and Rice rolls with tuna). We also had their "Romaine" Salad which is NOT a Caesar, but was in that ball park and as delicious with feta. Our entres (Steak & Lobster Pasta) were Superb. I could tell you more but pics are worth a thousand words, so heres ten thousand (see photos). Last thing I'll say: my date and I both had 2 martinis, we split 3 apps and a salad, each enjoyed an entre, I added 2 sides, all washed down with an espresso finale. Sorry... no room for desert (next time). Entire bill was $246. Thought is was a mistake. Great service, unbelievable cuisine, and wayyyyyyy underpriced.... Can't wait to go back. Best octopus I've had (escargot was also splash).. still can't figure out how they got that octopus to melt like butter. Not rubbery in the slightest form.. so delicious it's hard to describe.... Can't miss here. 20 out of 10!!!!!”
“We dined here on 5/9/26(Saturday), 4:45pm reservation. This was our second visit to Almyra, and this place is now my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. While we dined the regular dinner menu (photos below), there do have a very inexpensive happy hour ($6 glasses of wine) and the key is to get there at 4pm when they open to grab a spot at the bar area since that is where they offer the Happy Hour menu. That said, we ate from the regular dinner menu, and the dishes did not disappoint. Service is also top notch. Highly highly recommended if you're ever in the Rittenhouse Square area in Philly.”
“I went to Almyra for happy hour for the first time and absolutely loved it! It’s definitely one of the best happy hours in the city. Small plates range from $7–8 and cocktails are $7 each, which in this day and age is GREAT pricing for happy hour. The food and cocktails were incredible, the ambiance was both beautiful and lively, and the service was impeccable. Our server consistently checked in on us throughout the evening. The happy hour menu allowed us to try so many dishes at a great price without sacrificing quality — it doesn’t get much better than that. I highly recommend the Pyra and Synephos, along with the drink of the day. Our favorite bites were the Saganaki (which comes out in flames — such a cool photo op), all of the dips, the lamb rib, crispy rice, and the salmon skewers. I can’t wait to come back for another happy hour!”
“I went for an early dinner and was offered a choice of happy hour menu or regular dining and choose regular dining. The bar area looked vibrant but not over crowded. Servers were excellent and helpful. When I didn’t care for an item I’d ordered the server had it removed from the bill without me asking :) The pita bread that came with the delicious spreads was fresh and excellent. Very generous pita triangles with plenty to take home. I tried the octopus but didn’t care for the thin slices and it seemed a bit greasy - this was the item removed from my bill. Coffee is good and the atmosphere spacious, colorful and I would go again.”
