According to popular legend the "aimless yet charming" James “Rosy” Roosevelt lived up to his reputation. While his older half-brother Franklin Delano Roosevelt was establishing his post-war legacy, Rosy was driven by a love of both strong drink and a mysterious woman on an odyssey that stretched from his native New York down through the American Southwest, eventually crossing the border into Mexico. While his exact whereabouts during his flight of passion are unknown to this day, he returned an early champion of the unfamiliar delicacy commonly referred to as "tacos". Later in life, he could often be found atop a barstool reminiscing over his journey and the desert rose that escaped him, finding comfort in the culinary treasure he helped popularize. We named a Taco Bar in his honor. Take-out and delivery are available and can be ordered at Rosystacobar.com
“This is a wonderful place to visit—great atmosphere, beautiful views, delicious food, and incredible prices. The staff are very fast and friendly—Chef Jesus and Chef Frank P, the food is excellent! Thank you!”
“I can't keep track of the amount of times I have been here. This location is great, and I absolutely love their happy hour deals- a whole plate of nachos for $5?! Amazing. Their taco Tuesday deal is also great- pair it with a passionfruit frozen margarita and you got me hooked. I definitely recommend Rosy's!”
“Popped in for a quick bite around 2:30 on a sunday. Lovely atmosphere, lightning-fast service, and excellent people watching I got the shrimp tacos which were 10/10. I really appreciated the menu and will definitely be back for their $5 happy hour and taco tuesday specials I was also happy with the size of the place. Seems like it would be a great spot for larger groups”
“I hate to leave a low star review, but I have always wanted to eat here and today I had the chance. I just couldn't believe how bland and flavorless was the food was. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The portion was good and it was presented nicely but literally had no flavor.”
“The drinks were ok nothing special. The steak empanadas were the best thing we had. The nachos were super soggy like they had been microwaved and the burrito bowl was atrocious. And to top it off we all got sick. I’m assuming it was all the grease from whatever the cheese was they used. Never again.”
