Pusadee's Garden is a Thai restaurant in the Upper Lawrencevile neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
“This place certainly lived up to the hype! It was absolutely amazing! The food, drinks, and atmosphere came together perfectly; great quality and a genuinely enjoyable experience. Eli, our server, was a fantastic addition to the experience... he clearly explained the menu, offered great suggestions, and answered all of our questions throughout the night. We’re already planning our next visit!”
“This place was great! We all ordered different things and tried them all and everything was stellar in their own unique way. I will say the pork belly app was a little bit on the drier side..not my favorite but the sauces were good. Id also say if youre looking for Thai I wouldn't necessarily say they had a lot of Thai options...other than curry sauces nothing really scream classic Thai dishes- BUT BUT the food nonetheless was still incredible- I got tvr crispy shrimp and I dont think I could have eaten it any faster, and the lamb was really good, what really took the cake for me was the 17 ingredient salad they had- it was such a unique and interesting flavor. Our server was phenomenal, and they were very attentive and nice! 1000% recommend dining outside its BEAUTIFUL”
“Pusadee’s is both a fantastic and disappointing dining experience these days. This restaurant is routinely hyped to be one of the best in the city, and in the past I might have agreed, but my last two dining experiences have left me leaving largely unsatisfied. The ambiance and vibe is second to none—beautiful restaurant, beautiful plates. The food itself is kind of boring and not consistent. If I go again, I’ll likely only get appetizers, as they are all great and delicious. The main dishes however are all fairly similar (almost all curries) and are no better tasting or higher quality than some of the local Thai restaurants that are less than half the price. I wish they offered more variety and more rotating dishes. The food is good, expensive, but not memorable.”
“I had a great overall experience at Pusadee’s Garden, though getting a reservation can be quite challenging. Our party arrived a little over an hour early for our reservation and were told the hostesses would try to seat us sooner. We ended up waiting outside for about an hour, only to later realize there’s a bar area where guests can dine without a reservation if space is available. We would have happily taken that option earlier had we known. I don’t usually leave 4-star reviews, but I was a bit frustrated that this wasn’t communicated to us upfront. The host stand staff seemed more engaged in conversation with each other than in helping make our wait more comfortable or offering helpful alternatives. That said, once we moved inside, the experience completely turned around. The bartender was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made the evening enjoyable. The food and overall service inside the restaurant were excellent and absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth visiting, but a little more proactive communication from the front-of-house team would make the experience even better.”
“We waited almost a year to get a reservation here so was so thrilled to finally get in! The ambiance is stunning! Elaborate design and very cozy! The menu is great because it's small! The server was excellent and a huge help with ordering. Everything we had was very flavorful! The crispy shrimp, tom yum with shrimp dumplings, pork satay and the 17 ingredient salad were my favorites! I can't wait to go in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area!”
