“Just wow what a great experience. My wife and I were in the mood for Greek food and had heard a lot about The Local Greek so we finally tried it and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in it felt like we were somewhere in Greece. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. We were greeted by the owner and manager Stratos who made us feel right at home and told us they would take care of us and they really did. For appetizers we had the grilled octopus and shrimp flambe. Both were excellent. The octopus was super tender and the shrimp was amazing and full of flavor. For dinner we had the branzino and lamb chops. Both were cooked perfectly. The branzino was fresh juicy and delicious. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked and easily one of the highlights of the meal. We were pretty full but still shared the galaktoboureko for dessert and it was totally worth it. We sat inside since it was a little chilly and the vibe was great busy energetic and just a fun place to be. Caesar was our server and did a great job. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.”

“The special shrimp Karsif’s: large shrimp wrapped in crispy shredded Filo with yogurt, citrus sauce, is absolutely amazing. The gyro was perfect. The mousaka was the perfect winter food, and came in the pot it was cooked in. This is the best Greek restaurant in Princeton, well worth the walk off the beaten path. The orange cake dessert was phenomenal and absolutely should not be missed.”

“Out of all restaurants I had ate before, this is definitely one of the best. First of all, I love their taste of furniture and decorations, gives me a very strong feeling of European restaurant. Their food was also superb, from both taste and amount. We got this grill patter and can you believe, this is for 2! I guess you need an army to take this down… The deserts are also great, not too sweet, and the cinnamon taste really hits me. Overall, pls try it!”

“The halloumi and fig flatbread was a favorite and had a unique flavor profile, would definitely recommend! The chicken souvlaki was a bit on the drier side and didn't stand out too much. Was a solid meal overall but on the pricier side for what it was”
