“We had such a great meal at Local Republic in Lawrenceville. We started with the table fries and three sauces. The ghost pepper Swayze sauce had real heat, the chipotle sauce was smoky and tasty, and the mojo pineapple sauce added a sweet balance. For our entrées, we ordered seafood, the shrimp was so good, and the salmon on rice was cooked perfectly. Dessert did not disappoint either. The peanut butter pie and coffee cheesecake were both full of flavor and a perfect finish. The service was gentle and friendly, and the seating and atmosphere were really nice. This place gets busy, so I definitely recommend booking a reservation to avoid a long wait. Overall, a wonderful experience.”

“I visited Local Republic today for the first time and had a really good experience overall. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries, the Korean fried chicken, and a cheesecake (which I sampled in the car). The food was good quality—solid and enjoyable, it’s not bursting with flavors but it’s decent quality ingredients. If you get what I mean. The standout part of my visit was my server, Sophia. She was super attentive, friendly, and genuinely made the experience better. I had two lemon drops, and everything was handled smoothly. I did make a mistake and forgot that the Korean fried chicken had pecans, which I’m allergic to, and they were very accommodating about sending it back with no issue. This place also scores very high on cleanliness, which is extremely important to me. The restaurant was very clean, didn’t have any unpleasant smells, and even the light fixtures were clean—which says a lot. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the space. One small note: the onions on the grilled chicken sandwich were cut a bit too large for my liking, but that’s minor. The vibe was really nice, and I’m glad I found this spot. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope I get Sophia again—she truly made the visit great.”

“Out with the in-laws and this place sure had a wait, but we were able to walk around for a little until it was our time. Such a cute little town, we sat outside across from the restaurant which was nice given we had a stroller, so enough space for all of us. This app was one of the best we’ve had wow, this non-alcoholic drink was nice, tasted like lavender lemonade almost, & the food was great also.”

“Really liked the pub vibe. Good smash burgers. I had the pork belly over rice noodles. The pork belly was prepared really well, but the broth in the noodles was really lacking any depth. A dab of fish sauce or anything with Umami would have made the dish pop more.”
