Dinosaur Bar-B-Que - Rochester

“While on vacation in Rochester, NY visiting family, I had the opportunity to eat at Dinosaur BBQ twice and both visits were outstanding. The food was absolutely amazing each time. I ordered the ribs on both visits, and they were fantastic. The sides were just as impressive: collard greens, applesauce, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, even the cornbread was delicious. I live in San Diego and can only hope we someday get a Dinosaur BBQ there. I’ll definitely be back to visit both family and Dinosaur BBQ in the future. The atmosphere was great as well. Sitting by the water added a nice touch... although the area could use a little cleanup with the fallen trees along the shoreline.”

“Wow what an experience!!! Visiting from Miami and Arizona! I came with my family (group of 9) We waited for about 40 minutes, and it was very much worth it. Starting with the friendly and attentive service from the staff. Even the security guard outside welcomed us to Rochester and made his recommendations! Amanda took care of our table and she made our experience much more memorable. The raspberry lemon drop **ELITE** I had three! And the food, we all devoured every bite. The amount of food was perfect, the sides were all so tasty, I couldn’t pick my favorite! The ribs 🤤 I was so happy from beginning to end. It was the best way to end the night, even the kids couldn’t stop raving about the delicious food! Thank you so much team! I would 10000% come back if I’m in Rochester!”

“I was in Rochester for the evening and the hotel said that this was pretty much the only place available for food. I decided since that was my only option to try it out and I have to say I was very impressed. This is the best food that I've had in a long time. If you have the opportunity to stop by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que you, you should definitely come. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the amazing food, you will not be disappointed.”

“Dino BBQ has a strong reputation, and it delivers on it. The deviled eggs were enjoyable, though not the most memorable part of the meal. The standout was the range of meats and sides. We ordered ribs, brisket, wings, pulled pork, mac & cheese, baked beans, corn, and greens, and everything was consistently well executed. The meats were tender and full of flavor, and the sides were equally satisfying. Overall, a reliable BBQ spot that lives up to expectations.”

“Being from Memphis, I can’t compare this place to my favorite, Central BBQ. The beef nachos without the jalapeños, pickled onions and chives were just okay. My daughter’s pork bbq sandwich was better than the beef but she said her mac & chs had a strong sharp cheddar taste that she didn’t care for. Our side salads were very good but I didn’t realize the 2 small pieces of cornbread I requested were $1 a piece but they were very good.”
