“I love this place! Every time I go I think to myself "why don't I come more often?"... from the bakery to the Apps, The Meal and the homemade desserts by their amazing Pastry Chef! Everything is always spot on! It was our waitresses first day back after her leave, she was wonderful! Definitely a 10 outta 10 Recommend! And sign up for their emails to be invited to their Special Events! So worth it!”
“Great food, delicious desserts. Beautiful location and great looking restaurant. I had: - 140z Strip Steak (medium rare) with the mixed rice and brocolini - Chocolate Scoop Cake - (not pictured) Pineapples Sangria All three were excellent. Would go again for more.”
“For nearly 30 years, Warfield’s has been one of our favorite restaurants, and tonight they helped make our 24th wedding anniversary truly special. The food continues to be consistently outstanding ~ creative, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail. Every plate that arrived at the table looked like artwork. Tonight we started with the Caesar Salad, which was fresh, crisp, perfectly balanced, and generously topped with shaved parmesan and croutons in their signature dressing. We also enjoyed the Chicken Milanese, and it was exceptional. The chicken was tender and flavorful, wrapped with basil and prosciutto, lightly breaded with panko, and cooked perfectly. The fresh burrata, marinated tomatoes, arugula, caper berries, and balsamic drizzle brought everything together beautifully. One of the highlights of the evening was the chef’s special ~ blackened snapper served over a Creole-inspired pasta. The snapper was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat, while the pasta was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. It was one of those dishes where every bite makes you pause for a second because the flavors come together so well. And then came dessert. The carrot cake was absolutely phenomenal ~ moist, rich, layered beautifully, and clearly homemade with care. We also shared a miniature birthday cake-style dessert that was both elegant and delicious, making the evening feel even more celebratory and personal. The bakery items and desserts at Warfield’s have always been one of the hidden treasures of the experience, and tonight was no exception. What made the evening even more memorable was the service. Eliza was wonderful throughout the night ~ attentive, thoughtful, warm, and genuinely kind. She helped create the kind of dining experience that makes you feel welcomed rather than simply served. She paid attention to the little details, never rushed us, and added to the feeling that this was truly a special occasion. Beyond the food, what keeps us coming back after all these years is the overall experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the presentation is consistently elegant, and the entire staff consistently makes people feel appreciated and cared for. If you are looking for a restaurant that combines creativity, consistency, and genuine hospitality, Warfield’s is a wonderful choice. Thirty years later, it still feels special every time we walk through the door. Kevin”
“We just happened on this restaurant because it was convenient where we were driving and it ended up being one of our favorite lunches on this vacation it is called a bakery but it's much more of a restaurant the food was excellent we had the chicken sandwich but the rest of it was perfect.”
“This was a great spot for a peaceful dinner! Our B&B hosts recommended it, and I’m so glad we took their advice. My friend and I started by splitting the Mango Salad, which was delicious and full of bright, varied flavors. For my entrée, I ordered the Gnocchi Fungi—pan-seared gnocchi with a mix of mushrooms, parmesan, and a white wine garlic sauce. It was superb! I personally would’ve loved a bit more sauce, but that’s just my preference—I like things a little saucier. The variety of mushrooms in the dish was especially enjoyable. My friend had the crab cakes, which were delightful, and we both loved the bread served at the beginning with multiple butters (the red pepper butter was the standout!). The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was lovely, and to top it off, we ordered some peanut butter-filled cookie sandwiches—and they gave us one for free! Overall, a fantastic meal. I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in town.”
