“Really cool place. Some of the most creative and flavorful food I’ve had. Everything was perfect and stood out by itself. Wish I could try all the different items on the menu. I left curious for more but satisfied. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! A must visit!”
“Super super happy with my experience with Urban Hill. Ty welcomed us in and way so sweet. Drew was our server and he was so attentive. Hunter was our bartender and he made amazing and balanced drinks that were unique and exciting. The staff made my husbands birthday celebration so special and the food was delicious. We had the cod and the half chicken. Both dishes were perfect! (Especially the cod)”
“We tried Urban Hill for dinner tonight for our anniversary. We had been for breakfast, which is delicious, but had been told dinner is where the real amazing food is. We could not have been more impressed! Our waiter, Indy, was perfectly attentive, personable, and willing to help us understand the menu and offer suggestions. We started with the calamari, oysters, and crudo, each of which were delicious. We also got the black cod and cannot rave about it enough! Perfectly balanced flavors and just cooked expertly. I also cannot say enough how much Indy made the experience rise above and beyond anything we expected. We will be back soon and trying more of the menu.”
“The atmosphere is nice. We enjoyed the din lighting. The sweet potato gnocchi was our favorite. The flavors are textures seemed to be very well thought out. The Asian sea bass was amazing..tender And full of flavor. My partner ordered the cheeseburger but it was underwhelming. It seemed to have too many things piled in it. It took from the flavor. But it is a big portion. The mocktails were pretty good. We were happy they offered that option. Our server, Jesse, seemed to be really busy. He forgot our bread, which was fine. He brought it over after I reminded him. But he took so long to come back with the check. We almost went up to the front to ask. He was nice and knowledgeable. Last thing is that the parking was tough. The parking garage is so confusing and you also can't go back the way you came. You have to walk out to the garage car entrance and walk down and find your car that way. It's also expensive, so be sure and remember a validation. Which we did not remember. Overall this is a great place.”
“My friends and I make it a point to try a new restaurant every month, and we had high hopes for Urban Hill. Unfortunately, the experience fell a bit flat for us. We started with the grilled calamari after our server mentioned the appetizers were meant to serve 3–4 people. However, the portion felt more suited for one person. The calamari itself was heavily chopped, and the lemon vinaigrette tasted more like watered-down mustard than a bright, citrusy dressing. I was especially looking forward to the olives mentioned on the menu, but it ended up being what seemed like a single olive sliced into a few small pieces, which was disappointing. Thankfully, the entrées were better. We ordered the burger, which was probably the standout dish of the night — flavorful and hard to go wrong with. I had the lamb, and we also tried the sablefish. Overall, the dishes had good flavor, but nothing felt particularly memorable or worth the price point. To finish, we shared the banana cheesecake, but it missed the mark for us as well. Instead of being light and airy, it was dense and mushy, more like a heavy cake than a cheesecake. Overall, while the food was decent in parts, the experience didn’t quite live up to the expectations or pricing, and unfortunately it didn’t make our repeat-visit list.”
