Antoine’s is a French restaurant in the Sarasota neighborhood of Sarasota.
“My husband and I recently dined at Anthony’s French Restaurant in Sarasota, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The escargot was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and truly captured the charm of a classic French dining experience. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality. The owner is always present, attentive, and genuinely happy to welcome guests, which creates a very special and personal touch. You can feel the love and passion that go into both the food and the service. We had a fantastic evening together and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. If you’re looking for outstanding French cuisine, a beautiful atmosphere, and heartfelt service, Anthony’s is a must-visit in Sarasota. We will definitely be back!”
“The service and food was delicious and impeccable. Oli, the host/owner was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and personable. His passion for food made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. This is an absolute must-go.”
“Excellent classic cuisine in an admittedly very unassuming spot. Prices are a little high, but the food quality is well worth it, you certainly won't find many hidden gems like this around Sarasota. Being located inside a strip mall, I was skeptical at first, but the food was incredibly tasty, service was very friendly, and every bite was made with love. Delicious, worth the price tag, and makes for an excellent dinner experience.”
“We found this restaurant somewhat by accident, thinking we had booked a different place we had visited before. When we arrived, the exterior did not make the strongest first impression: a modest strip mall façade, darkened glass storefront, and simple outdoor planters. But we decided to continue in, and we are so glad we did. We were greeted by a very pleasant staff and seated quickly. While the interior décor is a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh, the warmth of the service and the quality of the food more than made up for it. The meal began with a small sample of asparagus soup, which was absolutely delicious. We ordered the mussels Provençal, and our guest had the asparagus soup. For our entrées, we all chose the red snapper special, which was cooked perfectly and served as a generous portion. We finished with the profiteroles and sea salt ice cream, which was fantastic. This is a wonderful find for anyone who appreciates quality cuisine, thoughtful preparation, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to food lovers and locals alike. Support this restaurant. It is absolutely worth it, and we look forward to returning the next time we are in Sarasota.”
“Everything about this place is average. The food , the service , the atmosphere all average. The only night worth going is Wednesday’s because it’s all you can eat mussels. That’s if you like mussels. There are many other restaurants that serve much better food and at much better prices. $89 for a tiny piece of Chilean sea bass white some purée that’s horrible!!!”
