The Wishing Well

“I am embarrassed to say that tonight was my first visit to Wishing Well. Five of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our dishes, all different were tastier than the next; this goes for the appetizers as well. Everything met their descriptions perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful as was the bartender on arrival. The ambience was perfect. A beautiful dining experience away from the noise. Thank you. We will return!”

“This place was a Complete 10/10 hit!! Beautiful atmosphere! I booked it for my fiancé’s bday dinner and they gave us a lovely table right near the fire place, our waitress Natalya was Amazing as well! Any questions or suggestions she took care of right away. The food was Incredible as well as the delicious cocktails! We had the clams for an app, she had the scallop entree that was honestly huge scallops. Amazing flavor. I had the beef short rib and it was tender and delicious! Finished it off with the chocolate crème brûlée! Couldn’t recommend this place more! It lived up to all the hype!”

“We went to the restaurant during restaurant week and we ordered from a limited menu. The lamb was well done. It tasted good, not sure I have had lamb before. The braised beef was really good. The gravy had a lot of flavor and the meat fell apart. The pasta was homemade and tasted great. The carrot cake was ok, tasted more like spice cake. It was nice and moist. The pot de creme was very flavorful. The prices are on a higher end here. The quality is pretty good and matches the cost. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Tables are a little close, but not bad. This is a good special occasion restaurant. They have a huge selection at the bar. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean. They have banquet rooms that can be separated.”

“Went for the first time to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Everyone was welcoming and they treated us great. The food is very good - position sizes are huge. Our waitress was very friendly as was the host and the manager. It was a great experience and we will absolutely go back again for our next special occasion. The piano player was a nice experience too.”

“Our experience at the Wishing Well was, overall, great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting (though it was almost too loud to hear our small table of three as we were seated next to a table that was extremely boisterous) and our server was very attentive. The food was very good-I'm only taking off a star because the three of us felt that our meals were under seasoned. I had the butternut squash cavatelli and though it was okay, it was very bland and could have used a bit more salt, garlic, or anything that would have better accented the butternut flavor. This is certainly not enough to stop us from trying again. This is a great place for a more refined birthday celebration or an anniversary dinner.”
