Yellowbelly is an American restaurant in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis.
“Loved every bite we had at Yellowbelly tonight! Our large group tried a variety of snacks and small/large plates. Highlights of the night included the seared scallops large plate, the crab fritters dipped in a lovely passion fruit mustard and the simple but delicious cheddar biscuits. In addition, the elite cocktail program and amazing atmosphere rounded out the perfect meal. Will be back for more soon!”
“The service was superb! The bartender Soren was our server and the team was phenomenal! We ordered the bottomless mimosa and a few cocktails… the drinks were fresh and unique! I felt healthy dinking here! The team made special accommodations for our party and it was really a surprise! I really like this place! The flavor was exceptional! The atmosphere was quiet but the vibe was great! They had good music playing! Really enjoyed my time at this location! Be sure to stop in!”
“Tiki lovers rejoice! The best place in St. Louis to enjoy tropical cocktails that are well mixed, strong, and delicious. I sat at the bar for my dinner for one, and had tried the staff recommended food as well. For drinks, glass octopus was a stand out but I think you have to try the black cat mountain as well. For food, the pork belly was absolutely insane. It melted in your mouth and was just perfect. They also have Yellow Belly custom zombie glasses to purchase if you’d like for $25, which I certainly did as I collect them. My only critique is that the Brussels sprouts were a bit too wet and saucy, but the flavor was great.”
“Yellowbelly is a fantastic restaurant we visited for our anniversary date night. They offer a nice Happy Hour until 6:30 PM. Hence, we got the beef fat fries, which were only $5 and came in a big portion. The taste was simply amazing. However, I would suggest adding a bit more sourness to the sauce in the scallops and pork belly dish to balance out the richness and sweetness of the dish. The price is a bit expensive, but it’s worth to give them a try!”
“Excellent service but I am not impressed -Yellowbelly feels like something slick Tiktok influencers created. Hipsters expertly identified all the allergens on the menu, but utterly failed at thinking about how something could be prepared gluten-free or allergen free from the beginning. How subtle alterations could make the whole menu more accessible and delicious. $10 beef fat French fries expertly made but then heavily coated in something like spicy Lawry's seasoning salt, very Applebee’s. $16 cheeseburger on an Udi’s bun is nothing special but filling. Very limited gf options beyond that.”
