“I was a little skeptical that this might be a tourist trap because the location is so good, but my husband and I had a fabulous happy hour here. We loved the specials where you can get oysters or crab and a drink for a set price, and got really lucky with $1 oysters because it happened to be a full moon! I wanted to specially shout out the folks who were shucking oysters (this was May 31) because never in my life have I had such perfectly shucked oysters - zero shell, zero punctured oysters, they were all PERFECT which is really impressive in a buck a shuck environment.”

“This place was recommended to us by a someone in public transit, who is related to the owners somehow. Anyway, it did not disappoint! We were forewarned about the prices, but it depends on what you get (and how hungry you are). Overall: great service and fantastic food! Our hostess was super kind and knowledgeable about recommendations (I couldn’t decide between three dishes! 😬), and I was NOT disappointed when I went with what she recommended. So good!!”

“⭐️⭐️ TL;DR: Good food completely ruined by disorganized and inattentive service. Not suitable for a special occasion. We went for our anniversary and left frustrated. The food was decent, but the service was careless from start to finish. 🅿️ Parking misinformation I called ahead because I couldn’t find parking and was told the restaurant doesn’t offer any parking support. After arriving, the parking ticket behind the restaurant clearly offered $10 off the bill for this restaurant. Staff simply didn’t know their own policy, which already set the tone. 🪑 Arrival and seating No proper welcome, no help with chairs or coats, and no coat check. Despite a reservation and special occasion, we were placed at an awkward middle table with a partial blocked view. No acknowledgment of the anniversary at all. 🍷 Service issues The service was inattentive and unprofessional. • Oysters served with zero explanation unless we asked • No check-ins during the meal • No offer of pepper or condiments • Server not present when food arrived • Had to rely on assistants for basic requests While I was still eating, my partner’s plate was cleared and we were immediately pushed for dessert. We declined, and the bill was brought while we were still drinking. The payment machine then took another 10 to 15 minutes to arrive. The entire experience felt rushed yet disorganized. 🍽️ Food We ordered oysters, a New York strip loin, and lobster tails to share. The food itself was good, but the lobster tails came with butter sauce on the side, mostly butter with very little garlic flavor and no spoon to serve it properly. Final thoughts For a restaurant at this price level, the lack of basic hospitality was surprising. No attention to detail, no communication, and no sense of occasion. Good food alone cannot fix poor service. I would not return for another celebration. They do have a happy hour menu until 5:30, which is one of the few positives.”
