“Had a great dinner experience at Agua 301. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying a beautiful evening. The hostess was accommodating and helped make outdoor seating work for us, which I appreciated. The food was excellent. I tried the chicken, shrimp, and salmon tacos, and all three were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The black beans and rice were a great addition, and the burrito was absolutely massive — easily enough for two people. The service was also outstanding. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The only downside had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. While dining outside, a nearby table began smoking, and the smoke drifted over to our table while we were eating. It took away from an otherwise great outdoor dining experience, but I wouldn’t hold that against the restaurant. Overall, great food, generous portions, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend Agua 301 and look forward to coming back again.”

“I dined here last night and Sandra was our server. First of all, the ambiance was lowkey. It wasn’t too crowded and our food came out with perfect timing. First our apps and our entrees not too long after. We had the frozen Mango and Frozen Strawberry Margs, if you don’t listen to anything I say, just get the mango. You won’t be disappointed. It was literal perfection. For my appetizer I had the Chicken empanadas. The crust was flaky and the inside was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection. And the drizzle on the plate hit so hard! It was delicious. For my entree I got the Chipotle Shrimp. The showstopper was the creamy white wine sauce and the rice. I was in food heaven. This dish was so flavorful, the shrimp was legit perfect. Not chewy and overdone. You can tell the chef really loved what they do. Everything felt like home. Whenever I dine out, I want to feel like, I can’t get this dish anywhere else but here and I left feeling great because it was everything I could ask for. Sandra was extremely attentive and ensured we were taken care of. If you are ever in Navy Yard and want good authentic mexican cuisine, you’ve come to the right place. 10/10”

“The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles and steak and eggs, and both were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and super satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned, and the portions were huge! Just look at the pictures! What really made the experience stand out, though, was our waiter Luz. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming, and genuinely made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Her positive energy and kindness added so much to the meal and really elevated the whole experience. Between the amazing food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service, Agua 301 is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time in DC and at this restaurant. Shrimp and steak fajitas were amazingly delicious and served hot. Margaritas were delicious and alcohol level was on par. However, my service for one person was very bad as I had to constantly look to other servers for help when I needed something. She never checked on me once and ironically the restaurant automatically charges a 20% service fee assuming the service was good. Most cases I tip 20% up so this was a surprise for someone who didn’t want to wait on me. That’s disappointing as the restaurant is in a great location at the Navy Yard and right by the trails. Other waitstaff gave good service so hopefully you will have better luck.”
