“Great food! I ate there twice during a recent visit to DC. The fish and chips were excellent, as was the beef on weck. I highly recommend the Bailey's Irish cheesecake. I wanted a mocktail, and there wasn't any on the menu. The bartender mixed up a mocktail Moscow Mule, which was great. My partner had a Guiness Black and Amber, which got him hooked on Guiness. 10/10!”
“The best spinach and artichoke dip I ever tasted. Fish and chips were tasty and a large portion. Staff was friendly and food came out fast. Meal was very reasonably priced for DC.”
“How convenient, near the capitol and inside a hotel! Arrived at 7pm on a Friday night, table of four. Great dinners for each of us. We had Guinness and shots of Jameson, along with their Irish offerings for dinner. I had the fish and chips, which is hit or miss at restaurants. This was a grand slam fish! Live music every night, that was a nice treat.”
“The food was great. The burgers and fries were delicious. The fish and chips was average. The breading on the fish was a little off. The pretzel sticks were good and the cheese dip with them was awesome. The service was good but not outstanding. They could have been friendlier. We didn’t have to wait long at all for a table but we did have a reservation so i would suggest getting a reservation to ensure little to no wait.”
“Missing boxty… Trinity omelet.. I was thinking about the more pancake-like boxty, but I got the fried potatoes on the side and grated potatoes inside. Didn’t expect almost seeing latkes in the omelet. Hanukkah time it is. Apart from the unsaturated nostalgia, the food is nice. The omelet isn’t too greasy, makes me less guilty with the bangers. The melted cheese is lovely. Browned potatoes that are not too oily. Wish someone could share a big country breakfast with me next time. A little too quiet… no music in the background. Even the lads are eating and chatting so quietly… Lovely decor. Service was friendly and prompt :)”
