“This is only for the Potomac Distilling Company (Thrasher's Rum). We did a tour and tasting at Thrasher’s Rum located on the Wharf in Washington DC. I love rum so how can I not go? The entrance is below the restaurant and may look sketchy but very safe 😁 The distillery is a tight but cozy space. Ivan was our tour and sampling guide for this adventure. He created a laid back and fun environment. He did a stunning job explaining the history of rum and the various processes they use. We were able to try the White Rum, Spicy Rum, Green Spiced Rum, Coconut and a couple different Relaxed Rums. They were smoother with a near nonexistent burn at the end. The rums have a hint of flavor from the natural flavors for all but the white. They only use natural ingredients in their process which brings out their flavor without sacrificing the rum. It is well worth the time to stop by and learn about rum making alone. They have a restaurant upstairs but we didn’t have time to stop in. What I can say is, their frozen Rum and Coke was delicious. At the end of the tour is where you pay and purchase the rum for taking home. They also have some t-shirts, tiki cups and gift sets.”

“Otto was absolutely phenomenal! We came in with a large party of 18 people, and he went above and beyond to make sure our group could sit together comfortably. He quickly rearranged tables to accommodate everyone without missing a beat, all while maintaining a positive attitude and exceptional service. Despite the size of our party, Otto was attentive, organized, and incredibly patient. He made sure drinks stayed FULL, orders were accurate, and everyone felt taken care of throughout the entire meal. His professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile turned what could have been a challenging situation into a seamless and enjoyable experience. If you’re lucky enough to have Otto as your server, you’re in great hands. Thank you for making our gathering such a memorable one!”

“Service: We stumbled on Tiki TNT while in the area looking for a happy hour spot and decided to give it a try. We were quickly seated and attended to, which was a great start. The staff was friendly and efficient, and our food and drinks came out in no time. Taste: We ordered the chicken tacos, coconut shrimp, and tater tots, all came out hot and fresh. The flavors came together really well, especially the coconut shrimp which had the perfect crunch and sweetness. The cocktails were also well-balanced and refreshing. Ambiance: The vibe here is exactly what you’d want for a casual happy hour, laid-back, tropical, and with a beautiful view of the water. Great for small or large groups looking to unwind. Overall Review: Tiki TNT was a pleasant surprise! Great service, solid food, and an even better atmosphere. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, and I’ll for sure be back”

“Scenery and vibes- absolutely amazing. The food is decently priced for the area but it's a mixed bag of whether it is good or not. I got the nachos and I wish they distributed the cheese sauce a bit more as a good chunk were naked chips. There's also a reason they suggest the smores platter over their other 2 desserts. The other 3 desserts were like a desert - dry! Hope your server is attentive or you'll have a hard time getting the coconut cake or cinnamon rum raisin down. Service was not great, they were nice but didn't check on our table aside to give us extra water once. Had to flag them down to order desserts and get the check. I would say this place is more for their fun atmosphere and drinks. Definitely don't get the desserts!”
