“Years ago, and long before we retired and hit the road, we were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation to Vedge while in Philadelphia. So when we heard that a sister restaurant opened in historic Dillworthtown we were excited. While back in the Philadelphia area, we finally visited to celebrate a birthday. While not a place we can routinely visit due to the cost, it was an outstanding place for a celebration. Everything from talking to the owners to the food was excellent. The building was charming, the staff was great, and the food was elevated and amazing. We could not have asked for a better night. We definitely recommend visiting. We suggest making a reservation since it was busy during our visit on a weekday.”

“Went here for my birthday and it was an overall nice experience. I enjoyed most dishes but for my main, the maitake mushroom, which was not as tasty and flavorful as the other dishes. Service was wonderful, but we sat at the left-most end of the chef’s counter and with the door constantly opening, I was very very cold and uncomfortable and that negatively affected my dining experience as I just wanted to get out of there. They could have used buffer to help keep the temperature comfortable; they have a curtain but that wasn’t in use and frankly seemed insufficient. I’m newly pregnant and being uncomfortable while pregnant is especially difficult.”
