“While visiting Winston-Salem, we had the pleasure of trying Village Tavern and it absolutely exceeded every expectation! As someone who has to eat gluten free, I was so excited to see they had an entire gluten free menu dedicated to safe and delicious options. That alone made me feel so welcomed! I ordered the gluten free spaghetti squash and zucchini dish and added halibut for my protein — and wow… it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The flavors were fresh, light, and perfectly balanced, and the halibut was cooked beautifully. You could truly tell care was put into every detail of the meal. The atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Winston-Salem! Highly recommend, especially if you’re gluten free and looking for amazing options that don’t sacrifice flavor.”

“Second time here. Great service food was delicious. I have a lemon drop martini ($2 off on sat) Korean fried cauliflower was very tasty but not fried enough for me 7/10. Thai chicken salad (ask for hot chicken) 10/10 my was coaching so he requested a take out of two orders spring rolls 10/10 Homemade and hand made) he had a chicken penne pasta. 10/10 Of course I had to take out so I tried the seafood Cajun pasta 10/10 great service, beautiful atmosphere food impeccable even the next day. I’m going up to Greensboro next week. I will try their location.”

“Village. Tavern has wonderful food, excellent service. I ate the crab cake sandwich with a salad for lunch. This has become my favorite place in Winston Selem. Update 1/3/26- I highly recommend the spring rolls for appetizer. It is delicious with the sauces provided. I had Yaki with veggies. It was delicious. It is the first time I've had veal and it was well worth it.”

“Brad was an amazing server! So nice and attentive.. The sandwich was excellent. A club. The fries, however, were cold and not very good. We sat on thr patio to avoid the noise and chaos but got a couple a nd grandmother with 3 totally uncontrolled children. Not just being children - I mean screaming, beating tables, running wild and ignored by parents. This, of course was not ghr restaurants or Brad's fault. It's poor parenting. I actually felt sorry for the staff.”
