“Lovely place with fantastic folks. Food was really good. We had fried salmon skin, wagyu burger and beignet as dessert. We finished everything! It was so good! They have both outdoor and indoor seating and ambience is good for all occasions.”

“Great location on the edge of Solvang tourist chaos. Wagyu Burger was very good, fries were perfectly cooked, service was great. Not sure about their choice of playing My Chemical Romance for this over 50 crowd.”

“really good food. the view was nice. drink was good. service left a bit to be desired but i know it’s a tough job. i wouldn’t go back, but i also don’t regret that i went. the truffle gnocchi was a good vegetarian option & i heard the filet mignon was good. both dishes were oily but thats ok”

“Craft House at Corque has the potential to be a 5-star restaurant, but customer service really needs improvement. Our party of 4 was seated and waited about 20–30 minutes without a waiter in sight. Meanwhile, a table seated after us had already placed their order and received drinks. I eventually had to flag someone down, and they mentioned they would get our waiter. They later returned and took our order themselves, saying our waiter, Christian, would be with us shortly. To Christian’s credit, he did apologize when he arrived, but throughout dinner the service continued to fall short. He would stop by asking if everything was okay while our cups sat empty, then walk away without offering refills. We had to specifically ask for water and drink refills. At the end of the meal, we also weren’t asked about dessert or whether we needed anything else. We had to ask for the check and he pulled out of his vest. That said, the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. The outdoor seating is beautiful, especially the built-in fireplaces at the tables, which we really enjoyed. The live music also added a nice touch to the evening. Food-wise, the appetizers were the highlight. The ceviche and flautas were excellent. I ordered the Black Tie Burger, which was just okay, but the fries were delicious.”

“Beautiful restaurant. Loved the decor. Food was delicious. I had the harvest salad with chicken (YUM) hubby had the black tie burger with a blonde 101 beer - he said it was very good. I want to give thanks to the gentleman who answered the phone when we called about our reservation and got us in as soon as we arrived. They didn’t ask, but it was my birthday and this was a very special dinner for me and my husband. We happened to visit at what seemed the busiest day so I appreciated prompt seating. Our waiter was ok - tall Caucasian male - didn’t get his name. He took our order, came to check on us once and upon bringing us the check he made a comment about the last two weeks “definitely not fun for me” while he sighed with annoyance. I understand it was busy, but small towns like Solvang make their money from tourists - I’d think he’d be happy to work hard two weeks and enjoy the calm after the holidays. He didn’t make me feel welcomed as a guest. I want to spotlight the girl who brought out our food and drinks. (Think soft spoken Caucasian). She was very helpful when asked about certain things on the menu.”
