“Very unique and welcoming place. We’ll definitely visit again. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. There was also a special weekend magician who entertained the guests, and we even got to see the famous “magic car” trick performed right in my hand — such a fun and memorable experience!”
“I had the cigar rolls, famous garlic noodles, deconstructed Dungeness Crab, and the beignets for dessert. The staff was great and accommodating and the bar staff was great. I had the Margarita which was strong and delicious. The food was delicious, fresh, and what you would expect in Beverly Hills. I’ll definitely be back.”
“In Los Angeles where exclusivity is overplayed and originality is rare, walking into Crustacean felt like finding something you weren’t supposed to know about. Delivered in a distinguished wooden box that releases that nostalgic whisper of someone important once sat here, the Tuna Cigars blend intentional flavor and a rich smokiness that elevates all your senses. Then there’s the garlic pasta from the “secret kitchen”. No one should have access to something this powerful. Understated. Rich. Unapologetic. Perfect Execution. Garlic and turmeric with brussels sprouts and cauliflower, “OH MY!!” It was refreshing to not have it served up as an overused balsamic glaze. Redefined personality and slightly rebellious flavors that explode, awakening your inner child like the 4th of July. And then there were THE beignets. Listen carefully… New Orleans might want to sit this one out because Crustacean does it better!! I said what I said! Light, indulgent, and just pretentious enough to know they could take out the competition. The service moved like a two-decade run on Broadway. Effortless. Precise. Unbothered by the noise of LA, Crustacean doesn’t need to compete; it already won.”
“I celebrated my birthday at crustacean Beverly Hills on February 20th, and to say the service was “outstanding” would be an understatement. Besides the beautiful decor in our private dining room, the service was the most talked about thing of the evening. Selvin and his crew are unmatched. The food was delicious. The drinks were flowing. We were in the Santa Monica private dining room and it was worth every penny. Thank you all for making my day special!!”
“Came here for dine LA and it was $45 for the lunch menu with an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. Location is great…in beautiful Beverly Hills, plenty of parking lots around. I’ve to preface this review to say I’m going to be a tougher critic as an Asian who eats a LOT of Vietnamese food. Got the prawn app, comes with two little prawns and a dipping sauce. Not bad but not amazing. I go the brisket pho as the entree and it reminded me of the instant pho cups you can buy from 99 Ranch. Broth was average, brisket was average, and noodles had a few pieces of still chewy parts. Guess when I eat pho, I want the real deal #1 with everything dumped in my bowl. This was not it. Dessert was some type of fried pineapple with jasmine sorbet?? My date and I did not like this at all. Jasmine was so strong and the pineapple pieces needed to have that sweetness or caramelized form to make it delicious. We did enjoy our mocktails and service. Maybe their regular menu is better?!”
