Dear Emilia is a love letter to one of our favorite regions of Italy, Emilia Romagna. Known for its warm hospitality and heartwarming cuisine, we pay homage to the region responsible for bringing culinary traditions like balsamic vinegar, Parmigiano Reggiano, tortellini, and more to the world. Featuring an entirely Italian wine list and a bespoke cocktail program, we have carefully selected beverages that are complementary to this unique region of Italy. The team that brought you Restaurant Olivia in Wash Park wishes to welcome you as we explore familiar dishes and new, together.
“First off, the atmosphere is so amazing. It's very chic and very comfy. Service was fabulous, everyone was so kind and very knowledgeable of the food and how they make it. They have a wonderful variety of wines, some I have never heard of. There is also a sommelier to help choose. The food was very good. The menu was well thought out and served in waves that made sense and built on one another. The menu is definitely made to share dishes to try a lot of the menu. We tried every pasta dish and loved everyone! Rich sauces and amazing flavors. Definitely great for a date night or business meeting. Or just grab some drinks and a dish to share.”
“We came to Dear Emilia to celebrate a graduation and birthday and everyone in our party of 6 agreed it was one of the best dining experiences any of us have had. AJ was a great server and the sommelier (I didn't catch her name) was so helpful. We had two people in our party with dietary restrictions and not only was the whole Dear Emilia team great at finding options for them, they included allergen friendly amuse-bouche when they were provided to the table. It's a shame I don't live in Denver or I'd be back again regularly. Thank you for the great dining experience 🙂”
“Had a great time dining at Dear Emilia on a Saturday night. The food was delicious. Favorites were the lasagna verde, cheese souffle, and the steak but liked everything we ordered. Cocktails and wine were also great. Probably the best classic Negroni I’ve had. The hospitality and service were on point. Only complaint was that the dining experience took a long time (~2hrs) with a lot of waiting time between each course. Overall would recommend for a nice date night or special occasion and we will be back!”
“Really cute spot, just wish the lighting was a little softer. The appetizers were all great. I especially loved the lasagna, garganelli and the anolini, and using the bread at the end to soak up the sauce was outstanding. The capellacci wasn’t really my thing. The funghi was super delicious and perfectly crispy, carrots were just okay. Tiramisu was good. Service was excellent.”
“Absolutely wonderful! The service was outstanding and everything we tried was delicious and beautifully plated. We tried three pasta dishes, and our favorite was the lasagna. The flower shaped pasta was super fun too. Highly recommend !”
