“This place is the cutest! They really did an amazing job with the decor. I love that they leave the front windows open it feels very inviting. It does get quite loud in there so it won’t be a quiet spot to grab dinner. The food was great. They have a quaint menu to choose from and it’s obvious they are very intentional with each dish. Great place to catch up with friends and enjoy good eats!”

“Incredibly yummy food. Huge fan of the chicken and dumpling soup. Fresh ingredients and well seasoned. Haven't had something I didn't enjoy. Been a handful of times since they opened recently. Cool atmosphere and kind knowledgeable staff. Same people that did Bloom (also go there for dinner but fan).”

“Excellent food, full bar menu and overall a great selection of limited menu items to choose from. Have some veg options too, everything tasted fresh and good. We did a walk in for 8 on a Friday evening, no wait. I am sure this place will eventually get busy with the word passing. Has mix of salads, poultry, sea food and meat options, including Turkey. A lamb option would be a good addition to the menu. Can be loud if you prefer less noise. Desert options were only 2-3, but all of them were excellent.”

“Wow! What a surprise to discover this gem in Roanoke. The Mediterranean Southern Jewish fusion food menu drew us in and all tasted delicious! The matzo ball soup was rich and a wee bit spicy with dilly flavorful matzo balls of a sophisticated smaller size. The house made falafel handheld sandwich was outstanding with crispy falafels, slivered red cabbage and the refreshing tang of sumac pickles. The local trout kebab with green sauce and 2 sides (we picked fries and a loaded green salad) was excellent too. One of the owners came by to check on us and chat offering the perfect finish of a tiny Cuban coffee which we paired with their Eclair dessert. Ahhamazing! Dark chocolatey, vanilla creamy, crunchy graham crackers… Ambiance is beautiful, service is pro, bathrooms are very nice. Worth the drive from Charlottesville for lunch. We will be back. We hear a cool record bar is opening upstairs soon… Roanoke is lucky to have this place!”
