Duke's La Jolla

“Duke is the most famous Hawaiian and this restaurant is a great representation of him. The location is amazing overlooking the beach. They have a huge location with lots of seating in a beautiful setting and chill vibe. The food is fantastic, very fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hula pie is their signature dessert and is huge, enough for at least 3-4 people. All of the dishes were well presented and made with quality ingredients.”

“When you come here, the upstairs bar is a must-see. But overall they have delicious and well-prepared menu items and great happy hour prices! I highly recommend their calamari.. it is very unique and delicious!”

“Exceptional! Sticky ribs are a must and the crab ragoons with the real crab. They are very light and fluffy. All the food and cocktails we got were lovely. The view was the cherry on top. Highly recommend reservation for premium seating.”

“Feels like I am in Hawaii. We loved the views and the mai Tai is extremely strong, they don't skimp out. The virgin colada was a delight. The plate lunches are amazing. The huli huli chicken is smoky and well seasoned but it is hard to go past the mango pork ribs. Everything here was a delight. Highly highly recommend”

“Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. Even though evenings in La Jolla can be chilly in March, it was still comfortable to dine on the patio because heaters were placed at each table. Being able to enjoy delicious food while watching the sunset by the ocean made the experience truly amazing. The food clearly showed great care in its preparation and was absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of flavor that makes you want to come back and eat it again. They also had a great list of tap beers, and cocktails like martinis were excellent as well. The interior was thoughtfully designed and gave the restaurant a stylish and modern atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very professional at their jobs. This is a restaurant I would definitely recommend, and I’m planning to visit again myself.”
