Elwood is a BYOB that is centered around sharing our personal connection to PA Dutch country cuisine and sharing the heirloom dishes and native ingredients of Pennsylvania’s and the Mid-Atlantic's rich culinary history. Jenny Ko, Chef Adam Diltz’s wife, designed our intimate and comfortable dining room inside a Philadelphia rowhouse, preserving the space to feel like home, a place where you can pass around family-style entrees like you’re seated at a holiday table in the country without leaving the city. Tea Service- Elwood tea service is a combination of British tea tradition blended with PA Dutch influences. Chef Adam was Philly Eater's Chef of the Year 2019 and a James Beard Semi-Finalist Mid-Atlantic 2022

“I have been to many restaurants in different countries, I can count on my fingers the times a chef come to the table to greet you and show you the dishes before serving. The food was amazing, service one of the best. I have nothing bad to say about this place, I am so happy we found this gem. Will occasionally drop off some game we hunted and he makes it into some top tier deliciousness. Keeps it interesting with tea happy hours, an always changing menu, and private party options”
“Elwood was a lovely spot for high tea! The space was clean and tidy with plenty of room at the tables. Cute teapots and cups added a charming touch, and the tea tasted super fresh. The food was a standout — the salad, breads, spreads, and snacks — all clearly made with care. The owner served us and was very kind. The back patio wasn’t open but looked really cute. Overall, a great experience, especially for the price!”
“My husband and I really enjoyed Elwood! Such a different place and it’s a BYOB which is always a plus. We had the potato rolls, cheese board and duck and all were delicious and so unique. So many great homemade jams and sauces accompanying the meal, The chef was so nice and even got my husband some medicine when he wasn’t feeling well. The decor, plates and cutlery all contributed to the vibe- highly recommend and hope to come back soon”
