Hearthstone Restaurant - Breckenridge

“Went there for our anniversary dinner. The service and staff were impeccable. We started with the mussels that were a special that evening. I had the Alaskan halibut and my wife had the elk. For dessert we had the shake & cake. Everything that we had was incredibly delicious! Great date night or special occasion spot. If we're back in town sometime, would absolutely go back!”

“This is the second time we have visited this restaurant and it still does not disappoint. We started with the charred octopus as an app. The flavors were on point and great presentation. For dinner I went with the scallops and shrimp, my wife had the Wagu ribeye special. Both plates were perfect, neither of us would have changed a thing. For dessert we had the peach bread pudding. Great dessert to finish that dinner. Well definitely be back!”

“Hearthstone is one of my wife and I’s favorite places to visit when we come to Breckenridge. Food has always been outstanding, but I also love the way that the staff engage with guests. My wife and I own 33 restaurants so we know the difficulties that fine dining pose to operators, and Hearthstone is first class all the way. On our most recent visit I got to chat with Eric the General Manager and server/assistant manager Santiago. Both were top notch. We will see you guys next year!”

“Hearthstone Restaurant in Breckenridge is truly exceptional. The food is absolutely to die for — every dish feels carefully crafted, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The setting is just as stunning as the food. With views looking out toward the ski runs and that cosy mountain atmosphere, it feels special from the moment you sit down. It’s the kind of place I would happily come back to a million times over. If you’re in Breckenridge, this is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Rating based on overall food. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Our server couldn't have been better. One of our cocktails was incredible, the other was not. As for the food - One of the appetizers, the beets, was perfect. However, our entrees were extremely mid. The special menu lamb shank was described as "fall off the bone tender". It was not. I couldn't cut it off the bone with a knife and it was rather hard to eat. The sides served with this dish were pretty good, but should've been better. The salmon dish was also pretty ok. For the price, we would expect a far higher level of quality control, better plating, and probably just better food.”
